I. Formula. This is not a real conjugation.

It is the result of the verb to go in present


progressive plus an infinitive verb. So we have three elements in the formula:
1) Verb to be (in simple present) am
2) Verb to go in gerund is + going + infinitive verb
are
c) An infinitive verb

II. Use. Future with Be Going To is used for the following situations:
1) To express future plans which were determined before the moment of speaking and
certain future actions which we have previously decided.
→ We are going to have an exam at the end of the course.
→ Daniel is going to see U2 next weekend. He has the tickets already.
2) Predictions based on visible evidence.
→ Wendyl is going to have a baby. Look at how her belly has grown.
→ The shark is going to have dinner early.

III. Syntax. Check the syntax of the following structures:


1- Affirmative Sentence = Daniel is going to see U2 next weekend.
2- Yes / No Question = Is Daniel going to see U2 next weekend?
3- Wh Question = Where is Daniel going to see U2 next weekend?
4- Negative Sentence = Daniel isn’t going to see U2 next month.
