Mental Calculation is an Art. The quicker you are in calculations, the greater your
success is, in dealing with the subject.

There are a lot of quick calculation tricks that are given in Vedic Mathematics.

You can learn some of them here. When you have mastered them, it is important

1. Two Digit Multiplications: One’s digits end in 5 and tens’ digits are the

same. This also amounts to squaring any two digit number ending in ‘5’.

Step 2: Multiply ‘3’ by its next number ‘4’ and put
down the 12 before the 25.

1225 is your answer.

2. Two Digit Multiplications: One’s digit add up to 10 and the tens’ digits are
the same.

3. Two totally different two-digit numbers:

Step 2: 3 x 1 = 3 (left most digit)

Step 3 : (3 x 4) + (2 x1) = 12 + 2 = 14(middle place).

Put down only 4 and carry over ‘1’ to 3 and add ; 3 + 1 = 4
