Is now a bad time to talk?

I know you’re getting ready to close, and I’m getting ready to give you a real
headache….

Would it be completely unreasonable to run something by you?

You’re probably going to think I'm being unreasonable and not respecting you have a
job to do.

Would you be completely offended if I wanted to make a proposal?

I’m warning you now. You're going to hate and think I've gone mad. I’m kind of
embarrassed to tell you my offer, because I’m just moving house and don’t have a
massive budget.

Buying a fridge freezer and a smart TV together for between £250 to £310, with
delivery included.

What would you need to make this work?

So it sounds you’re worried about agreeing to something your manager may not
like?

We know I could get these cheaper somewhere else, but I get the quality here.

Loss Aversion

I wanted to spend a few hundred today and get it taken care of, but do you think I’d
be better off trying somewhere else?

...because....

And I'll come back in a few weeks time and pick up a washer/dryer from you as well.

How should we proceed from here?

What would it take...?
