What to expect
Your Outlook mailbox will be migrated to Exchange Online overnight.
After the migration you will only be able to access Outlook Web Access from a BMC network (office or
VPN)
Unapproved third-party Exchange-related add-ins may not work after migration such as Agenday and
Fantastical
IMAP and Pop3 are not supported and will not work after migration
What do I need to do?
Before Migration
Windows Mac
1. Connect to VPN 1. Select Preferences
2. Execute the command in your email to change 2. Select Accounts

After migration
1. Log in with your username@[Link] and your domain password
(example jsmith@[Link] for John Smith)

2. Congratulations! Your email account is migrated, and Outlook is updated.
Note: It can take 24 hours to see your calendar in Teams

Mobile devices
Notes:
Personal devices need Air Watch installed to see BMC email/calendar

Follow these steps after your mailbox is migrated.
1. On your mobile phone, go to email to be prompted to enter password
a. Select Edit Settings
b. Select BMC O365 Email
c. Enter your BMC password
d. Select Done

2. Log into your mail account
a. Select Work or school account
3. Log into Okta
4. Next window asks the question “Are you trying to sign into Apple Internet Accounts?”
a. Select Continue
b. You are done. Exit the current screen.
Note: It will take 2-3 hours for email to start downloading to your phone.

Note: Boxer must be installed
Follow these steps after your mailbox is migrated.
1. If you do not see the error message below, you are done.
a. Select Edit Details
b. Enter your BMC user id and password
c. You are done
Note: It will take 2-3 hours for email to start downloading to your phone.

Skype on Mobile
1. If you have Skype on your mobile, open the app and sign out.
a. Select your picture
b. Select Sign Out
2. Sign into Skype
a. Select Use another account or set advanced sign-in options at the bottom
b. Enter your full BMC email address
(example john_smith@[Link] for John Smith)
c. Select Advanced options

d. Type your username@[Link] on the top line
e. Select the blue X on top left corner
f. Enter your BMC domain password
g. Select Sign in
Note: It can take a few minutes for Skype information to upload
