MANUAL TRIP VALVE FOR GAS TURBINE EMERGENCY


(RVO 07011/4)

1) For construction and test details, see ITN 64102 and ITN 04204.41.

3) Hydraulic circuit fluid


a) mineral oil type AGIP OTE 32
b) synthetic oil type AGIP 23699 (phosporic ester )

4) Operating temperature: 10°C ÷ 80°C

5) Max. operating pressure: 10 bar

6) The valve is normally used in CLOSED position

7) The valve must be tripped by applying a force of min. 2 Kg and max. 4 Kg. onto the lever.

8) Internal part protection: ITN 02175 point 1 or 3.

9) External part protection: ITN 02143 point 4.

10) The tripping lever must be capable to be mounted in 4 positions at 90° angles from each
other, in an independent way from the excursion bottom indicator.

11) The excursion bottom indicator must have two stops, near which there must be the relative
labels: OPEN (open) and CLOSED (closed) in English language, attached to the valve
body.

12) The actuating lever must have rounded edges.

13) The VITON O-ring seals shall be supplied by the manufacturer.

14) The side of the valve body that contains the fluid passages must be protected for transport
with a metal plate of 3 mm thickness, fixed to the valve body by 4 screws (½ 2 13 UNC X 4
½ IN A 193 B7, they serve also for definitive assembling) and 4 nuts.
