The SVAR test can be taken on Android Application & IOS. Following are the basic
requirements:
• Network Requirements: 2G/ 3G/ 4G/ Wi-Fi.
The app needs to be connected to the internet at the beginning and towards the end of the test.
For the best experience, it is recommended that a connection with at least 256kbps is used. Don't
put your phone in airplane mode or flight mode.
• Test Environment:
o You should be seated in an environment where the ambient noise is minimum.
o During the test your voice will be recorded and instruction will be played throughout, so you
should use a good quality headphone and microphone.
o You should speak as normally as possible and need not be conscious of giving your voice
samples.
o Before starting the test on your device, stop the audio playing from other apps.
o You should not make or receive call in between
o You should not login in multiple devices using the same SVAR ID
Very Important Note: Kindly don't enter SVAR ID in SVAR Test APP for checking SVAR
ID is working or not and closing APP without taking the Test will also invalidate your test.
Your SVAR ID is working so no need to check. Start Test only when you are ready to start
and complete the Test in one go. And we don't recommend pausing and resuming test
because you may face issue like Test invalidated. So please Complete Test in one go.
How to place your device?
• Place your device on a flat surface.
• Position it at a distance of 5 to 8 inches along your line of sight.
• Make sure that the volume is adjusted accordingly.
Audio Testing
• Make sure that the audio device is properly plugged in.
• Adjust the volume, if not done already.
• If problems persist, try a different audio device.
Microphone testing
• Make sure that the mic is configured properly.
• Make sure that the volume is adjusted accordingly.
• If the problem persists, try with a different microphone.
Please continue only if the results of audio and microphone testing feature in the test are
satisfactory.
