Good evening __________, Club President, fellow Toastmasters, and distinguish guests.

Welcome to our ___________ Toastmasters Club _____the Chapter Meeting. My name


is ______________, it is my pleasure to be the 1st Speaker, being the "1st time"
Sergeant-at-Arms for the meeting.

We have here with us this evening, our special guests, let's welcome them, DTM 
_____________, ACS, ________, ACB, _____________…. (Please confirm their
attendance and title before announcing.)

I'll take this opportunity to ice-breaking session, let us all introduce ourselves, and let us
know what......... (A simple and short topic - e.g. a recent NEWS, favourite colour /food
and why?)

Shall we begin with.......?

Thank you let give ourselves around applause.

Before we kick off the meeting, please switch off your handphone, or set them to silent
mode. (pause a while) Thank you. We will now welcome the Toastmaster of the

Be early; make sure each member and guest is welcomed at club meeting,

Make sure meeting start on time at ___pm sharp
