Sewing your doll together:

Sew the legs to the bottom of the body (under the skirt) about 3st apart. Make sure you flip the
legs in the right direction so you get a right and a left foot! Attach arms to shoulders and head
on top of neck opening making sure your body and head are stuffed firmly. (If your dolly’s head
is floppy you can insert a small wood stick, taking care there are no sharp edges).

Making the dolls hair:

Cut 20” pieces of black yarn for hair. Fold each piece double. Insert your hook through a stitch
on the top of your dolls head, where you’d like to attach the hair. Place the loop of the yarn you
just folded onto your hook and pull the yarn through the stitch on the head then pull the two
ends through the loop. Repeat until the dolls hair looks nice and full.

Finishing:
Embroider little lashes on the sides of your dolls eyes with black, thin yarn and tie a nice bow
around her waist. Carefully apply some blush make up on her cheeks.
You can make your dolly in lots of different colors and don’t forget to make her dear Zoe the
zebra friend to keep her company.
You can always email: Nathaliesweetstitches@[Link] for questions and send me beautiful
pictures of your finished work.

If you’re really adventurous and a little bit “crochet crazy” like me you can try to crochet Aya
with number 8 cotton yarn and 1mm crochet needle to create this incredibly cute, tiny dolly.
