children cared for within the families are more likely to thrive than those in residential
areas. I agree with this because family care is essential for children’s growth and
development and a positive interaction between family members impacts the
development of the brain. As a child, you need love and care and you are fully
dependent on your parents.
On the other hand, Eilbert Lafronza on Family Are Involved in The Care Decision
Process, stated that family is involved in the care decision process which is certainly
true because our family, especially our parents are our guardians until we reach our
legal age. In the nursing process, patients and families can be involved in the care
decision process by making informed decisions on whether the patient likes to be
treated or not.
Family Care: Taking care of Aging Parents stated that children must be responsible for
taking care of their aging parents. I strongly agree with this concept because our
parents took care of us for as long as we knew. We owe our life to our parents who
gave our wants and needs until we reach a certain age. Taking care of them when they
cannot take care of themselves is showing how much we love and care for them. Some
may say it is a burden, but as their child it is your obligation to make them feel loved
until their final breath on this earth.
