CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- An Introduction
COURSE OVERVIEW
INTRODUCTION
A contract is a legally-binding agreement which recognizes and governs the rights and duties of
the parties to the agreement. A contract is legally enforceable because it meets the requirements
and approval of the law. An agreement typically involves the exchange of goods, services, money,
or promises of any of those.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Contract Management e-module is to give participants the overview of
Contract Management – important legal terms involved and their explanation.

COMPLETION CRITERIA
Participants will be required to complete the course by manually marking the CHECK BOX
under ‘YOUR PROGRESS’, after the completion of each document. YOUR PROGRESS Chart is
also shown on the Dashboard under COURSE OVERVIEW COURSES. The course will be
considered complete after all the sub-modules (including Quiz) are completed.
EVALUATION
At the end of the course a QUIZ is included to evaluate the participant. Quiz consists of Multiple
Choice Questions (MCQs) and is time bounded. The Quiz has to be completed/submitted in single
sitting. All questions will carry equal weightage and there is no negative marking. An individual
will have to score more than equal to 75% to clear the Quiz. Maximum number of attempts for the
quiz is THREE (03). However only one attempt can be made in a day.
