Proposal
For
“Establishment of Cyber security Club in department”
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Academic Year 2020-21
Intention of proposing the club
The club's main purpose is to provide technical resources to the students who are interested in
cyber security to advance their computer security careers.
The club focuses the overall development of the member of this club in field of cybersecurity,
using theoretical teaching, practical sessions and tests. Students can have their own ideas to come
up with, monitoring their level of interests and creativity.
The club achieves this mission by organizing monthly meetings to discuss and practice hands-on
cybersecurity concepts. Not only limited to, network security, digital forensics, penetration
testing, secure coding, cryptography, and reverse engineering, but even more futuristic
concepts. Every technical support will be given to students, let that be in terms of labs, study
materials, doubt sessions, somewhat of accessories and equipment. Every student will be having
his/her own opinion and idea of presenting the feedback. On top of this, we invite local
companies and organizations to speak at our meetings and promote their work in Cyber Security.
Our teams' goal is to inform and train individuals about the on-going cyber threats that we may
be faced with every day. From learning how to spot phishing emails to learning proper ways to
secure all your online accounts. Learning from scratch is the best way to learn the things
correctly. Keeping this in mind, our team will make sure that students will get appropriate
knowledge in best way. Making aware the students of “what can be done!” from nothing, will
result in learning the serious notes of the field – Cybersecurity.
Our team takes information security and Data very seriously and want to ensure the world is
under its maximum protection.
