1. Discuss the importance of computers in the various fields of
-Teacher / Academicians
Today’s teachers are facing many changes and it is becoming a more difficult job because of the
numerous amounts of expectations. The use of technology in teaching can actually help with
many of the expectations faced by teacher. Because IS changes year to year, it is important for
teacher to take part in professional development in technology. Professional development will
ensure that technology will be used effectively to create new opportunities for learning and to
promote student achievement.
-Students
The uses of computers and internet are growing day by day at high speed. In almost all business,
companies, schools using computers for various official operations. New tech tools are coming
that helping students to learn better.
Computers help students to draw the creativity on the computer such as by using windows paint
program. If students are taking Hindi Classes or poem writing then they can do it by typing in
Hindi on computers. If students are taking Mathematical classes they can use Microsoft Excel
application to solve and understand questions.
-Defense
Computers are the main tools which help in developing missiles and other equipment in the
deference system. Designing and the maintenance are possible only through computers.
Computer builds the links between the soldiers and commanders through the satellite.
Construction of weapons and controlling their function is not possible without the aid of
computers. The list of the criminals and the records of the cops are maintained regularly in the
system.
-Sports
Sports media outlets use computers everyday in their jobs. Writers use computers to complete
research on their stories, while video editors use various applications to create vignettes and film
pieces about their subjects. Larger sports media outlets such as ESPN have used computer
technology to create applications such as their "ESPN Axis" field view. This program rotates the
field of view at any moment to give a different visual perception of the action at the time.
Computers play a major part in how well media outlets cover their respective sports.

-Military services
Military schools depend on computers for testing the aptitude of the students. What's taught in
the classroom setting is tested using computers in order to ensure the validity of the student's
answers. Some of the aptitude tests are used to decide what the soldier's occupation will be
during her service time.]
-Business
Almost every business uses computers to complete daily tasks. From making contact with clients
to inputting data for reports, computers allow businesses a more efficient way to manage affairs
when compared to traditional paper and manila folders. Businesses use a variety of different
types of computers such as desktops, laptops, servers, smartphones and tablets, depending on
their needs. With computers, employees are able to work anytime, anywhere.
- Health and Medicine
As computers have become mainstream appliances, they have found their way into virtually all
aspects of human endeavors and medicine is no exception. Computers help physicians and
medical researchers discover, test and apply medical techniques in virtually every hospital in the
world. Furthermore, computer technology provides an infrastructure to allow for medical ideas
and knowledge to be filed and shared globally with other medical professionals.
-Engineering
Product engineers apply science, math and original thought to develop new products or new
product solutions. Traditionally, this consisted of drawing out new products by hand, then
building them. But this was laborious. Today, engineers rely on computers for much of the
process. Using computers and specialty computer software, engineers can design, test and make
changes to products in minimal time. Computers help them complete the task at hand much more
quickly.
-Banking and Finance
The discovery of computers has transformed the financial industry and how business deals are
transacted. It is possible for accountants to keep large amounts of data, conduct intricate

calculations and manage financial transactions all from a computer. Computer technology today
enables global economic capabilities that were impossible only a few decades ago, and
computers now influence both business as well as personal financial management.
-Entertainment
Computers started as very simplistic machines for storing and transferring data. Most of these
files were text-based reports used in a work environment. As technology advanced, computers
became increasingly versatile in what they could do. With the creation of the Internet and faster
processors, file sharing and entertainment became a popular use for personal computers
everywhere. Computers have endless uses in the entertainment industry by directly marketing
products to users.
-Science
The advent of computers has contributed greatly to the fields of science. They have allowed for
the collection and recording of vast amounts of data. They allow scientists to store information
indefinitely and review it easily.
