CONVOCATION SCRIPT FOR MCs

Israel and Sophia: Good morning everyone. We are all gathered today for the
celebration of our first monthly convocation with the theme “Faithfulness”.

Israel: My name’s Israel Subelario.

Sophia: And I am Sophia Grace Araῆez.

Israel and Sophia: Together, we are your MCs for the day.

Sophia: To formally start our program, may I request everyone to rise for the
doxology to be led by the selected students of Grade 10-Anahaw and Shamyl
Abrigo for the opening prayer.

(introduction of guest speaker, guest speaker’s speech.)

daily lives.

Israel: Pastor, please remain in your place as we call Teacher Jonebert O.

Garsula, OIC Principal of Asian Learning Center for the giving of the token of
appreciation.
(giving of the token of appreciation)

Sophia: Jesus had harsh warnings for a farmer who had reaped abundant crops,
but selfishly decided to keep all he had gained by building his bigger barns. The
farmer thought he had made it. It was all about him. But he had forgotten the
possibility of generosity. Jesus never condemned prosperity, but he consistently
criticized selfishness, stinginess and lack of compassion. We have the
opportunity to avoid stinginess and selfishness and to be generous now, as we
present God’s tithes and our offerings.

(offertory song: oh come holy spirit)
