EDL Series
Application
Belden Enclosures for use in 19” Data, Telecommunications and Networking applications. Varying depths are available
for various applications.
Features
4 Sliding vertical rails for mounting (6 rails for cabinets deeper than 800 mm).
Main grounding point is on the bottom of the enclosure by one M8 screw.
The frame is connected to the removable parts with grounding wires.
Top cover has knockout cut-outs for fan-unit and cable entries.
The maximum permissible load is 400kg.
IP20 protection.

Construction
The welded enclosures are available in 600mm width for 19” mounting equipment. They have a maximum load capacity
of 400kg. The minimum thickness of the surface coating finish is 65μm.

The vertical rails have the possibility to move the 19“ rails to the left or right side (to 2“ or 50,8 mm). For higher load
capacity than 400kg, the whole system of Network Welded Enclosures are in the middle position, as standard delivery.

Material
Steel thickness:
1,0 mm for side panels, doors, vertical profiles
1,3 mm for horizontal frames and top cover
Door types
Door types available in single (standard left side opening) or double doors. Maximum allowed load on the door is 20 kg.
Solid Steel door with rigid design
Glass door with safety tempered glass of 4 mm
Perforated door with 80% airflow.
Rear panel
The standard enclosure comes with a rear solid panel. In case easy rear access is required, door types can be selected.
Side panels
Removable side panels are installed on metal pins on bottom of the frame and secured by a keylocking mechanism.
They can be easily removed by unclicking grounding wires instantly.
Top and bottom cover
Each enclosure is supplied with a top and bottom cover which is prepared to receive a Fan unit by removing knock-out
panel (400x400mm). On the front and rear of the cover knock-outs are pre-cut to enable cable access.
Baying
The enclosure construction is prepared for baying cabinets together in a row.
Grounding
Ground wires are provided in the standard package. By use of click on studs and connectors, side panels and doors are
removed quick and easy. These need to be properly fixed and inserted into connectors during all the time when using the
cabinet.
