1) An engineering firm conducted a concrete mix design test and provided the results and specifications for M20 grade concrete to be used in road works in Allavaram Mandal. 2) The mix design recommended a cement content of 350 kg/cubic meter for M20 concrete. 3) Based on the mix design results, the Executive Engineer ordered the adoption of 350 kg/cubic meter of cement for M20 concrete and cement quantities for other grades to be used in estimates for various road projects in Allavaram Mandal.

In the reference above, the design mix for different grades of concrete for CC Pavements for the works
sanctioned in MGNREGS, SDF, CDP, MPLADS and other grants have been submitted by the field staff and they
are requested to adopt the cement quantities arrived in design mix for preparation of estimates in Allavaram
Mandal.
ORDER:
Under the above circumstances as explained by the Deputy Executive, Engineer, P.R.(PIU) Sub-division,
Amalapuram and the Design Mix details submitted by the V.B. Engineering Foundation, Bhimavaram, it is
hereby ordered to adopt the following quantities of cement in the data for cement concrete roads which were
sanctioned various grants viz.. MGNREGS, SDF, CDP, MPLADS and Other grants in Allavaram Mandal.

1) M20 Grade Concrete - 350 Kg. /1cum


2) M30 Grade Concrete - 385 Kg./ 1cum
3) Nominal mix CC (1:2:4) - 250 Kg. /1cum

The Dy. Executive Engineer, PIU Sub-division, Amalapuram is instructed to prepare the working
estimates duly adopting the above data.
