Checklist for Survey of Bridge

1. TS DATA
 Clearly take reading of HFL And WL.
 Take the detail up to 150m from centerline if possible (terai).
 Take the detail of approach road 500 m both side with 15m left right from centerline.
 Take detail of river 500m u/s and 200m downstream at least.
2. GPS Track
 Should includ all BM and BL (station of each TS).
 Should mark Axis
3. D-CARD as per given format (input /feed GPS coordinate).
4. Legal Document
 Minute/Muchulka (criteria: minimum signature and contact no. of atleast 10
people).
 Letter of approval of client for survey (need stamp/verification from concerned
authority).
 District Rate.

5. Sketch Copy
 Each and every major places (name of District, VDCs, Ward no., villages).
 Mark soil type and BM in sketch copy.
 Mention name of major khola,kholsi,bridges,river etc.
 Mark nearest market place and its distance.
 Contact no. of local people who guides you.
6. Soil sample for sub-base material of river (atleast 10 kg sample of each river)
7. PHOTOS
 Photo of all BM clearly.
 Photo of Upstream, downstream.
 Photo of approach roads.
 Photo of axis line with prism on axis.
