A war ends because the supremacy of the arms of one side is so effective that it totally

annihilates the enemy or because the opposing parties recognize that neither will be able to
prevail through arms and prefer to sit down and negotiate peace. It is what you can get to see in
that image if you know the meaning of it, a treaty that ends one of the longest wars and with the
greatest impact in the country.
This treaty seeks peace and tranquility in a large number of citizens, not to mention that, for all,
it seeks the demobilization of the armed group FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of
Colombia). Armed group that has generated conflicts and fear throughout Colombia for all the
violent actions they carried out almost since its creation, since before it was not that type of
group, before it was a group formed by peasants to protect what was theirs, but at over time
they lost these ideals and ended up being paramilitary forces.
Colombia has been at war for many years and has unmatched experience in frustrated peace
processes. From the wars of independence, through the war of a thousand days and violence, to
the current peace process, there are many occasions in which Colombia has attempted to end
the conflict and give way to a post-conflict situation. conflict in which new outbreaks of
violence appear unnecessary.
After signing this agreement, those who were then guerrilla commanders are now senators.
Those who were negotiators of the peace agreement announced their return to arms.
Sorry, but I don’t have more information about it, and it’s all I can write about it.
