A REFLECTION ON GENE EDITING

We all know that technology is a key part of a revolution of what is known. We are
grateful of the Science and technology, because all that we indulge today, is because of it.
Because of Science and technology, we became more efficient, more productive and more
beautiful inside and out. But, what would you say when that same Science is responsibleble
also in the so called GENE EDITING.will you favor that the next generation will be mere perfect
in physical aspects? Or will you consider this as unethical because it concern live.

Gene Editing a defined by GOOGLE is, “The manipulation of the genetic material of a
living organism by deleting, replacing, or inserting a DNA sequence, typically with the aim of
improving a crop or farmed animal, or correcting a genetic disorder.” Imagine your future kids if
their genes will be replaced by other genes to make them look a doll(if that is what the parents
like), will you still consider them as your own, knowing that their genes has been replaced and
deleted, meaning the portin of your genes in their body can pe just a percentage after.

For me, I do not agree in this. I know that the aim of this project is for the betterment of
the humankind, but as a Christian, i believe that GOD alone can make a human. That it is HIM
only that can decide, whether we will be born with a beautiful traits. I also do not want this
because it is a product of technology taht we all knos that can have its adverse effect. Whether
it can be a disease or a trait that is worsjt to be found. I also believe that characters and
behavior is also affect by genes. What if your the product of this eventually become a monster.
Who would be responsible for it?

Although, it has too many benefits to have this, Science and technology should stick on
things and not lives, where it can be unethical to have. We can be grateful no matter what are
physical traits are. We are all created beautiful, even without the help of technology. In this
world, where Science can be dominating, do not lose your FAITH to GOD, for he is the only one
that can save MANKIND.
