About Fogging Nozzles


Misting nozzles are designed to produce low impact, low flow rate mist patterns, and can be
adjusted to create dry and wet fogs as well. There are multiple applications in which fog
nozzles are used, including:

cooling
dust suppression
humidifying
moistening
evaporative cooling
gas cooling

Fog nozzles can create a variety of spray patterns and flow capacities and are suitable for a
range of functions and industries. Fogging nozzles Type FG produce a high volume of fine

Fogging Nozzles – Variations


Spraytech Systems misting nozzles can produce varying degrees of water mists and fogs
ranging between 10-60 microns, with nominal flow rates of 19, 27 and 38 litres per minute
at 3 Bar pressure. The standard thread size is ¾ inch, although larger sizes are available on
request.

Any low viscous fluid under 10 centipoise (cP) can generally be used with a fog nozzle, and
they continue to operate efficiently in almost any temperature.
