Jacobs’ engineers worked closely with Cummins from the
conceptual stage to develop the 2010 engine brake for - Three stage engine brake operation, low/med/high
the ISX 15L engine. This collaboration of efforts resulted - Certified and approved by the engine manufacturer
in an integrated design which, through optimization of the - Fully integrated with engine electronic controls and
air management system, increased the mid-range retarding with vehicle ABS for greater driver control
performance of the engine brake.

horsepower numbers. Rated engine speed is 1800 RPM, Will match the basic warranty mutually agreed by Jacobs and
Governed speed is 2020 RPM. the engine manufacturer up to the maximum of 2 years or
250,000 miles (400,000 km), whichever comes first.
