Autumn began Sept. 22… But what a summer!!! In October Mark Jensen still has 5 or 6 seats for
August brought us our 5th annual DAY OF MAGIC at the the Gazzo Master Class. It is an intensive two-day
Everett PUD Theater, with Aldo Columbini performing & hands-on class. Cost for the two days is expected to be
lecturing. In addition, we experienced; Tom Franks’ lecture in the $250 range. Go to www.magicpitch.com for more

swap meet.
DR. BARRIE RICHARDSON – Lectured to our club
September’s club meeting, offered September 10th at the Edmonds P.U.D. auditorium. Once,
a chance at the Librarian’s Challenge: a professor of forty years, he used magic as a metaphor
Who was the model for the women’s in his classes. Now known for cards, mentalism and
figure on Robert Harbin’s Zig Zag? The more, he demonstrated “doing a lot with a little”, and
answer; June Merlin (Billy McCombs wife) what a pinch of glass beads can do for your card tricks.
The theme of the meeting was “Magic:
using the old Ball & Vase”. Our club
office nominations were announced for the upcoming
elections. The Club Library catalogue can now be located
in excel format on our web site.

magic” for Halloween!

Lectures:
DAVID STONE – November 5th Saturday afternoon
2:00 pm at the Edmonds P.U.D. auditorium. He’s become
famous in France over the past three years with his
successful Coin Magic videos. Take the rare opportunity
to see him during his U .S. tour. Lectures are only $15.

Our club’s Labor Day picnic was Sept. 5th. The


picnic and magic extravaganza was held at The Meyers’
home(s) on Crabapple Lake. Food galore! Brauts,
Hamburgers, Salads & Desert Fondues. Several of our
magicians (Dick Ptacek & Gary McKiban) performed some
