I love reading books. It is one of my favorite free time activities.


I read many books in Arabic, English and French. However, the
best book I read was “The Box of Wonders”. It is an autobiography
novel written by Ahmed Sefrioui who is a Moroccan novelist. This
novel was published in 1954. “The Box of Wonders” revolves around the
memories of the narrator. He remembers his lonely childhood
and his relationships with his family and his neighbors. The
novel also shows the kind of passion, love and drama of life at
that time in Morocco. For me, this book is amazing for many
reasons. First, the events are very amusing and
entertaining. Besides, the novel reflects the traditions, customs
and general way of life in Morocco in 1954.

In my free time, I like watching movies. I love all kinds of


movies like American, Indian and Moroccan movie. I watched
more than 100 films. However, the best movie I watched was
“Shawshank Redemption”. It is a drama and mystery movie directed byFrank
Darabont who is a Hungarian-American film director. This movie was
released in1994. The film revolves around the story of a man named
Andy. He is accused of killing his wife and her lover although
he did not commit that crime. He is sentenced to life in
Shawshank prison. However, because Andy believes that he did
not murder his wife and her lover, he managed to escape from
prison. Finally, he gets his freedom. To be honest, this movie is
fabulous to say the least. The events are so amusing and
entertaining. Besides, it teaches amazing moral lessons about
friendship, love, dedication, perseverance and freedom.
