Barangay Puro BDC Meeting Minutes 2019

The Barangay Development Council of Puro, Aroroy, Masbate held a meeting on July 22, 2019 to pass Resolution No. 05-2019. The resolution reallocated 1.8 million pesos originally budgeted for constructing a Materials Recovery Facility building towards rehabilitating the road in San Roque Village instead. This was because the municipality had already constructed a central MRF building, making a barangay one unnecessary. The council members and others present unanimously approved the resolution.

BDC RESOLUTION NO. 05-2019

A RESOLUTION RE-ALLIGNING THE ONE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS ALLOCATED FOR
THE MRF PROJECT FROM SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 02-2018 TO REHABILITATION OF SAN ROQUE
VILLAGE ROAD PROJECT.

Whereas, this council has allocated the sum of P1.8 million from the Supplemental
Budget No. 02-2018 for the construction of the MRF Building as compliance to RA 9003 and also
to help preserve the environment for the future generation.

Whereas, the Local Government of Arooroy, headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Arturo B.
Virtucio, has constructed an MRF Building at the Sanitary Landfill which is open for the use of all
barangays within the municipality of Aroroy.

Whereas, aforementioned construction of MRF Building eliminates the need for a


construction of an MRF Building within our barangay due to an accessible MRF Building just a
few miles away from the barangay.

Whereas, there are other issues that needs immediate action from this council such as
the rehabilitation of the road at San Roque Village, Puro, Aroroy.

Nowtherefore, on motion of Hon. Edwin L. Cadiz Sr., duly seconded by Hon. Albert L.
Pajes and unanimously concurred by all present, resolved as it is hereby resolved, to re-allign
the sum of One million eight hundred thousand (P1,800,000.00) formerly allocated for the
construction of an MRF Building to the Road Rehabilitation Program at San Roque Village, Puro.

Resolved further, to furnish copies of this forgoing resolution to all agencies and offices
concerned for their guidance and information.
