1 Introduction
Hello! This is a generic gearing guide to help you figure out what to do with your gear,
whether you’re a new player or a returning player who has no clue what En Masse is
doing at all! This guide is tailored to provide clarity and suggestions for the gearing
process up until the best gear possible. This guide is tailored for characters that DID
NOT COMPLETE THE APEX QUESTLINE BEFORE EXODOR GEAR
WAS INTRODUCED. If you don’t know what this means, don’t worry about it,
you’re fine! If you are stuck with old gear from pre-Exodor patches, feel free to DM me
for info, or ask around in your class discord. You can buy the accessory box for current
jewelry using vanguard credits from the Vanguard vendor in Highwatch, and from there
you can spam MC until you hit level 68 and buy some blue gear from the Trade Broker
for a few hundred gold. (Running MC to level 68 should give you enough gold to do this).
I am a fairly new TERA player, having started in May 2020, and though it is fairly
easy to find and ask for information regarding gearing, I figured it might be nice for some
people to have it all in one, consolidated place. This is just another option aside from
the much more knowledgable folks and guides over at the various Class Discords! This
guide is NOT CLASS SPECIFIC, though I will throw in some separate suggestions
here and there if need be for various roles.
I should add that this is a living document, meaning that even though this looks like
a completed PDF, it is very easy for me to change and/or add information as need be! If
you have any corrections or suggestions for the document, please let me know and I will
do so. There will be a detailed changelog provided at the end of this file to document
any changes I make, with credit provided where due.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, I am most easily reachable on Discord
at Luddeus#2210. Feel free to DM me and I will try to answer as soon as possible! With
that being said, good luck, and have fun!

2 New Players
If you are new to TERA, or MMOs in general, the number of menus can be overwhelming!
You can refer to this section to find some useful keyboard shortcuts1 and also general
lingo.
Dungeon Abbreviations:
1
These are the default shortcuts provided by the game. If you have messed with these, they will not
match up!
5
3 What Should I Do?
Here’s a brief summarized list of what you should be thinking about when getting from
a fresh new character to a character fully geared for endgame content! This is a very
abbreviated list and you can find more details on each of these items in the rest of
the guide (you can also click on them in the table of contents) and the list follows the
approximate order that you’ll want to do these in! Obviously you don’t have to do them
in order and you can do whatever is most convenient for you at the time, but this is
mostly just a guideline if you’re unsure on what to do!
3. Queue for dungeons in instance matching and equip gear that you get from bosses
all the way from Level 20 to Level 65
5. Farm MC (Macellarius Catacombs) for XP and green relidoms. (You can stop at
level 68 and use azart gear to do rr/rk9 if you’re bored, or just keep going until
level 69 when you can use superior gear.
6. Buy Superior Gear (Annihilation/Dark Light) from trade broker to equip at Level
69
8. Get the appropriate glyphs and enhancement points as per your class
10. Use feedstock from RR/RK9 to enchant your gear towards +10
11. Run AQ (Akalath Quarantine) for blue relidoms and Luminous Mana Essence for
upgrading jewelry again.
6
At this point, you are well-equipped to do the majority of the content available in-
game! If you want to go further, however, here are some major things that you can
do:
12. Farm CSN (Corrupted Skynest Normal) for the materials to upgrade your Superior
Gear to Mythical (Kaia’s Fury/Kaia’s Wisdom), or just buy Kaia gear from the
trade broker.
16. Look at upgrading Brooch/Mask/Belt (BE CAREFUL HERE. make sure your
upgrade here is actually worth it).
7
4 Levels 1-65
If you are below level 65, gearing is incredibly easy and also inconsequential! The fastest
way to level is as follows:
1. Finish Stepstone Isle. This is the tutorial area that will get you to around Level 12
or 13. Once this is done, you will be sent to Velika.
2. Once you’re in Velika, continue the available questline (This shows up as a red
question mark in your questlog and on your minimap). Be sure to pick up and
equip any gear you get along the way (from both monsters and quest rewards).
You can ignore the stats for now, all you care about is the item level2 .
3. You should hit level 20 around the time that the questline leads up to Bastion of
Lok. Once you hit level 20, the fastest way to level is just to do dungeons. You can
queue for these one of two ways:
• Press H to see what dungeons are available
• Hit the Magnifying Glass in the bottom right panel and click on ”Instance
Matching”
4. From here, just keep spamming dungeons and equipping the gear you get from the
dungeons. If you are unable to queue for a dungeon, it’s likely that the issue is your
item level being too low. Press P to open up your equipment menu and find your
lowest item level armour piece. You can then use tokens that drop as rewards from
each dungeon to get a single piece of gear for that slot. For example, Bastion of
Lok gives you 5 tokens named “Token XX”, indicating a free level 20 item. This
token mechanic continues all the way up until level 60.
2
This is the number found under the gear icon when you hover over the piece either in your inventory
or on your person
8
5. If you have a friend who has a level 65 character and has completed their Apex
Questline, ask them to help run you through Ebon Tower at level 58! If you do
this, you will not be queueing for the dungeon. Instead, teleport to the dungeon
entrance and enter manually using the teleportal. From here, your friend can run
through and basically 1-shot everything while you run along behind them collecting
experience. This is likely the best way to get from level 58 to 65. To teleport to the
dungeon, open up the Vanguard menu by pressing H, and click on the magnifying
glass shown below:
9
5 Fresh Level 65 (Ready to Begin Endgame)
Congratulations on hitting level 65! The first thing to do now is to go get your Apex
Skills! These are the skills with the gold border around them that are basically going to
be your bread and butter for high-level gameplay. Here’s an example of what they look
like:
As soon as you hit level 65, you’ll have a purple questline appear, sending you first
to Braga in Highwatch. If you can’t find him, here’s where he is:
Follow this questline and you’ll eventually get 3 present boxes. Each of these should
have ”Federation Supply Box” somewhere in the name. Open these boxes and you’ll get
a full set of gear to get you to item level 444 to at least queue for MC! The gear you will
get here consists of:
• Exodor Scout Armour: This is the armour you will be using until you get Annihi-
lation/Dark Light gear (more on this gear later on).
Don’t be afraid to enchant this gear if you have the materials for it! You will get the
materials from dungeons and quests, and even after you get better gear pieces later
on, you’ll stil be able to dismantle your Exodor Scout Armour for relevant enchanting
materials!
10
Once you’ve gone through enough of the questline to get your Apex Skills, you have
the option of continuing the Exodor Questline (which will still be purple), or going on
and doing dungeons. If you’re not sure if you’re on the right questline, open up your
quest log by hitting L, and look for the following:
If your goal is to improve your gear and contribute as much to your party as possible,
the vast majority of your time will be spent in dungeons. Later in this guide, you’ll find
some comments on which dungeons you should do depending on what you’re looking for,
but for now, you will be spending a lot of time in MC getting XP to get to level 68.
5.1 Leveling in MC
Each MC run gives you just under a billion xp for your character just from the mobs killed
and the vanguard request, but most importantly, queueing for MC in instance matching
is quite fast, and completing the dungeon as a full 3-man group grants you 4 xp pots
at the end giving 250 million XP each. These potions are bankable! So if you have
a character that does a lot more damage at a higher level, you can farm MC on that
character and transfer the potions to the character you are currently trying to get XP
on! Here’s some additional details on the number of potions needed to get to each level
past level 65. Note, however, that if you run the dungeon by yourself you’ll only get 2 of
these xp potions, and 3 if you only run it with one other person.
11
6 Enchanting Gear
Gearing in this game primarily revolves around enchanting your gear. This essentially
adds enchantment levels to your gear that increases its base stats. Enchantment level
ranges from +0 to +153 Each level of enchantment has a specific success rate, which gets
lower the higher up you go. Once your gear hits +10, enchanting become exponentially
more difficulty, although each level beyond +10 provides a much more significant boost to
your gear. It is of note that once you enchant your gear beyond +10, each enchantment
attempt failure has a chance to either drop your equipment’s enchantment level
by 1, or damage your equipment, or both.
Enchanting materials can be stored in the guild bank for use for any charac-
ter on the same account. In addition, the following materials can be bought on the
trade broker:
3
Press T to access this menu. Gear will have to be unequipped from your character before you can
enchant it.
12
7 Farming Enchantment Materials
For the most part you will be getting enchantment materials from dungeons. You can
get Exodor Scout Feedstock and Dark Shard Feedstock from most dungeons (anything
except Bahaar’s Sanctum, Forbidden Arena, and Corrupted Skynest). Some dungeons
will have specific enchanting materials as Vanguard Request Rewards (Press H to access).
A common example would be Dark Shard Armour Feedstock from Red Refuge and also
Dark Shard Weapon Feedstock from RK-9.
Depending on your needs, you can convert between different tiers of Exodor Feedstock
(There are 3 tiers labelled I, II, III). Right click on the lower two tiers to bring up a dialog
box asking if you want to upgrade your feedstock to the next tier (the rate is 10:1). You
can also dismantle Exodor Feedstock Tier III to get 5 Exodor Feedstock Tier II. There
are also some efficient ways to get enchantment materials from dismantling.
13
7.1 Dismantling Exodor Scout Gear
Dismantling Exodor Scout Gear once it is +12 or above gives you Dark Shard Feedstock
as follows (the feedstock type corresponds with what you’re dismantling. So dismantling
weapons give you weapon feedstock, and dismantling everything else gives you armour
feedstock):
This is one of the BEST sources of Dark Shard Feedstock (which you will be using
to enchant Superior and Mythical Gear). If you have the patience for it, one of the best
ways to get more feedstock is to create a new Reaper, (Reapers start at level 50 and
finish their tutorial around level 58) get the reaper to level 65, and then quickly do the
Apex Questline for the Exodor Scout Armour from the Supply Box. Then, once you have
enough Exodor Feedstock, upgrade this all the way to +15 and dismantle for 100 Dark
Shard Feedstock. While you can dismantle this at lower enchantment levels, it is most
effective to be patient and wait until +15, even if it means having to spend a bit more
gold to repair the gear.
14
7.2 Azart Gear
Once in awhile you’ll run into some Azart Gear (It’ll either be called Manaforce Azart for
magic-related gear or Dauntless Azart for physical-related gear). You can sell these on the
Trade Broker for somewhere around 1,000 gold apiece, but I personally prefer dismantling
them for varying tiers of Duranium Ore. The highest tier of this (Pure Duranium Ore)
is used for repairing broken pieces of Superior and Mythical Gear, so it’s good to have a
stock of this ready for when you are attempting to enchant your gear to +15. You can
swap between tiers of this enchantment material just like with Exodor Feedstock.
8 Dailies
There are daily quests that you can complete on Exodor for enchanting materials, but
this section will mostly just outline a few things that you should be doing daily on each
character to get the most out of your playtime!
15
8.2 Vanguard Request Rewards
There are certain Vanguard Requests that will give you an extra bit of gold and materials.
You can find these by pressing H, but most of these will be from completing specific
Guardian missions or completing dungeons. Dungeon Vanguard Requests are repeatable,
whereasa Guardian Requests are not. However, you have a limit of 16 Vanguard Requests
a day, so if you are looking to spam a dungeon for the Vanguard Rewards, keep an eye
on the number of requests you have left! You can see this on the top left of the Vanguard
Menu.
16
8.3 Ghillieglade
Ghillieglade is a fast solo instance where you kill a tree to get some materials. You don’t
get a lot of materials here but there are some rare rewards that are nice, and the goldfinger
tokens you get also allow you to buy an innerwear box. Here is a list of potential rewards:
If you have Elite status, you can access Ghillieglade by hitting the scroll button on
the hotbar. However, if you don’t have elite status, you’ll have to buy the scroll from the
Vanguard merchant in Highwatch to go to Ghillieglade
17
9 Dungeon Progression Outline
This section provides a summary of what you’ll want to farm at each stage of gear. Gear
progression is quite linear in TERA and as a result so is dungeon progression. That being
said, there are some dungeons you will be repeating many times over. This is simply a
generic loose summary of what you should be doing to upgrade your gear. More specifics
can be found in later sections. If you are looking for dungeon guides, the PvE discord
over at https://discord.gg/aMcnXYz has a good consolidated series of guides.
9.1 Level 65 - MC
At Level 65, you will only have access to Macellarius Catacombs (MC). This dungeon
is one of the best sources of endgame XP, along with some green relics/halidoms and
infusion gear. Most of the gear you get from MC can be sold to a merchant for some
gold (including a rare mask drop which will give you 20,000 gold). Don’t worry too much
about upgrading any of the relics or halidoms you get from here. Just equip one each
to have something and you’ll get blue relics/halidoms soon. The dungeon also drops
XP potions (250,000,000 XP each) that can be stored in the character bank, so you can
always spam this dungeon on your main character (or highest damage dealing character)
to make it go quicker, and store the XP potions in the bank for the character you’re
currently working on. If you get bored of running MC, you have the option of continuing
your Exodor Questline (the purple questline), as you get a decent amount of experience
once you hit the quest checkpoints.
Alternatively, you can equip some Azart gear (can be bought from trade broker), and
then dismantle it after you’re done using it.
Finally (and this is what I personally recommend), if you’re the patient kind, you can
keep leveling until you hit level 69, and use the gold you got from running MC (1,000
gold per Vanguard Reward) to buy some Annihilation/Dark Light gear from the trade
broker (more details about this later). This gear requires level 69 to be equipped, but is
much better than Exodor Scout or Azart Gear, and is what you will be using until you
acquire Mythical Gear.
4
It should be noted that your weapon and chest contribute a little bit more to your item level than
your boots and gloves, so if you just need a couple levels to hit the 452 ilvl requirement, these are good
pieces to enchant
18
Both of these dungeons provide Dark Shard Feedstock, and you will be using this to
enchant your Annihilation/Dark Light Gear. These dungeons are quite easy to complete
and queue for, but any dungeon past this will require much more effort and knowledge of
the game. In addition, you will also get some materials for upgrading your accessories.
9.3 Level 70 - AQ
Once you hit item level 456 and level 70, you will unlock 4 more dungeons. These dun-
geons are much more difficult than MC/RR/RK9, so you will need to have a decent
understanding of your class and some decent gear to properly run them. While you are
able to queue for these at item level 456, I do not recommend rushing in to queue for
and complete these dungeons, as you are (very likely) not prepared and undergeared for
them. Focus on enchanting your gear using Feedstock from RR/RK9 and focus
on getting comfortable with your class before hopping into the level 70 dungeons, ESPE-
CIALLY if you are a healer or a tank. FOR THE SAKE OF BOTH YOURSELF AND
YOUR PARTY MEMBERS, PLEASE READ UP OR STUDY THE MECHANICS OF
THE LEVEL 70 DUNGEONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING THEM. While some mechanics
may still take some getting used to, you should have at least some basic knowledge on
what to expect and what to do. There are plenty of resources for learning the dungeons,
both on Discord and on good ol’ Google.
Once you feel comfortable running level 70 dungeons, you’ll want to mostly do Akalath
Quarantine (AQ). This will give you blue relics and halidoms. It should be noted that
not many people queue for these dungeons through instance matching, so you will likely
have to find groups in the LFG (Looking For Group) Menu, which can be accessed by
pressing Y.
19
10 Superior Gear (Annihilation (Physical)/Dark Light
(Magic))
Annihilation/Dark Light gear is the gear you will be using for the majority of the game.
This is the best gear available short of Mythical Gear. While these pieces are available
as a rare drop from dungeons, it is much easier to buy them from the Trade Broker.
If you are just starting off as a new character and don’t have much gold available (or
plan on eventually buying Kaia Gear), just buy the cheapest pieces that are appropriate
for your class (MAKE SURE YOU ARE BUYING THE CORRECT VERSION), and
start upgrading them towards +10. If you have a decent amount of gold available to you
(500,000 or more), you will want to look for pieces with specific rolls as described in the
next section.
20
11 Accessories
In short, accessories are the pieces of equipment that are NOT enchantable. You will
have gotten each of these pieces from the Federation Supply Box, and you can upgrade
your rings, earrings, necklace, and circlet twice (from Entropy to Ethereal to Radiant).
Your belt can be upgraded once (from Stormcry to Heroic Oath), and the remaining
pieces cannot be upgraded.
Rings and Earrings can each be equipped with Vrysks. These are crystals that give some
additional stats, and can be acquired from the Vanguard Crystal Merchant in Highwatch.
Refer to your class discord to figure out which crystals you need!
All brooches have the ability to be used as a skill as a combat buff. Don’t forget to
put this on your bar if you upgrade to a new brooch, as the spell ID will change!
21
11.3 Innerwear
Innerwear is one of the harder pieces to optimize, and is usually fairly expensive. Unless
you are super rich or super lucky, you won’t generally have the top innerwear available.
This is one of the last pieces of gear you should work on improving. Oftentimes it’s
sufficient to find/buy innerwear with a Crit Factor line just to help reach Crit Cap, since
you won’t really be touching that piece of equipment.
22
11.5 Relics and Halidoms (Relidoms)
The majority of your time getting Relidoms will be spent in Akalath Quarantine (AQ).
There are four different blue relidoms, each prioritizing a different main stat (Aside from
the HP/MP/Endurance boost):
These relics come in tiers ranging from I to V. The amount of each stat increases as
you upgrade through each tier, and upgrading essentially involves combining two relics
of the same tier to try to get the next tier. Since each relic only drops at tier I, you will
need quite a few of them to fully upgrade to tier V, at the following costs/succcess rate:
Relic Tier Result Gold per Attempt (blue) Gold per Attempt (gold) Success Rate
Tier II 5,000 10,000 25.0%
Tier III 12,500 27,500 15.2%
Tier IV 20,000 45,000 13.1%
Tier V 27,500 62,500 10.0%
Gold relics and halidoms can also be acquired from level 70 dungeons, and give both
Power and Crit Factor at the same time. These are very good if you only need a little bit
of crit to reach your crit cap (refer to your class discord to find these), but if you already
ahve enough crit elsewhere, it’s much easier to get and upgrade blue relidoms.
11.6 Etchings
You can get etchings for each of your accessories. These are essentially scrolls that add
an extra effect. To figure out which etchings are best for you, refer to your class discord!
These etchings are craftable but unless you are already devoting a decent amount of time
to crafting, it is likely easier to buy the ones you want off of the trade broker.
23
12 Upgrading and Improving Jewelry
As mentioned previously, your rings, earrings, necklace and circlet start at Entropy level,
and can be upgrade all the way to Radiant. Each upgrade costs materials and gold.
24
13 Mythical Gear (Kaia’s Fury/Kaia’s Wisdom)
Once you have all your Superior Gear enchanted at +10 and all your jewelry pieces
upgraded to Radiant and you’re looking to upgrade even further, it’s time to move towards
Mythical Gear! This involves getting either Kaia’s Fury gear for physical damage dealers,
and Kaia’s Wisdom gear for magic users. You can acquire this gear by either buying it
from the Trade Broker (same rules regarding rolls apply as they did with Superior gear),
or by upgrading them yourself!
1. A piece of Superior Gear (Annihilation/Dark Light). The piece will upgrade into
the corresponding piece of Kaia gear.
(Annihilation→ Kaia’s Fury, Dark Light → Kaia’s Wisdom).
2. The second piece can either be a Heroic Oath piece of the same slot, or a Black Core
Essence (which can be bought at the same location using 10 Black Core Nodules
that you get from running CSN). The piece you use in this second slot determines
the remaining crafting materials required. The picture here is a bit small, but from
left to right, these are what the Black Core Shards, Black Core Nodule, and Black
Core Essence look like:
25
In the figure above, Black Magic Stones refer to the Black Core Nodules, and the Dark
Shard Crystals refer to Black Core Shards (different names for different regions/translations).
The material discounts going through the Heroic Oath tiers correspond roughly to the
amount of materials needed to upgrade Heroic Oath gear, so if you still have Heroic Oath
gear lying around, you don’t necessarily need to upgrade it. It should be noted that
Heroic Oath gear is no longer attainable.
26
14 Glyphs and Enhancement Points (EP)
If you look at your list of skills (Press K to open this menu) you will see some circles
next to each skills. These are glyphs that you can activate to improve your skills. To
figure out which glyphs you need, refer to your class discord. You should at some point
have gotten 35 glyph tokens for your class from the Apex Questline, which can then be
used to buy one each of the available glyphs (right click on the glyph token to access
this store). Improving the quality of the glyph either improves the effect of the glyph,
or reduces the glyph cost (you have 65 points total to put towards glyphs). If you still
need rare/superior glyphs, you should be able to acquire these from the Vanguard Supply
Merchant in Highwatch.
Enhancement Points can be earned mostly through the Vanguard Request Rewards for
completing dungeons. You will mostly be getting these passively, so don’t worry too much
about farming them. To access this menu, click on the character icon at the bottom left
of the screen and find the EP menu from there:
Once again, check your class discord to find out which EP advancements you need!
Most of them should tell you what order you should get these in.
27
15 Skill Advancements
Once again, open up your skill tab. You will notice that one of the tabs at the top of the
menu is labelled ”Skill Advancement”. You have 5 different skills that can be altered.
Levels 66, 68, and 70 provide an option for a skill to be advanced, whereas levels 67 and
69 provide an option for a skill to be optimized. Refer to your class discord to find out
what order you should do these in.
Skill optimizations offer you one of three choices for optimizing a certain skill. These
usually add a large benefit that will greatly improve your character. Each of the 3 skill
advancements offer 60 levels of advancement for a particular skill. Each level of advance-
ment provides a small boost to your character and/or that particular skill that adds up
over time. This can be one of the more costly upgrades for your character, as each ad-
vancement level requires a set amount of gold that increases over time, totalling a few
hundred thousand gold for all 60 advancements of one skill.
To advance skills, you will need to earn enough skill advancement XP. Most of the time
this will just passively happen as you play the game and you shouldn’t have to worry
about this unless you already have the materials and gold from another character and
you want to immediately start upgrading skills. These advancements and optimizations
also require scrolls, which you can get from running dungeons as well.
It should be noted that these scrolls can be converted into each other similar to how
Exodor Feedstock works
28
16 Infusions
You might have noticed that while you aren’t able to slot crystals into your gear (except
for your earrings and rings), you do have the option to add so-called ”infusion effects”.
These are basically additional lines to your gear that you can get from infusing particular
pieces of gear that drop from dungeons.
Infusion gear comes in four qualities: Blighted, Blightrage, Blightoath, and Battered
Oath. As the rarity of the gear goes up, the pool of random stats to pick from gets
smaller, with Battered Oath pieces having 4 lines of maxed stats to choose from. If
you are progressing through harder dungeons past Red Refuge and RK-9 Kennel, you’ll
see these dropping fairly regularly. Personally, I recommend just selling the Blighted and
Blightrage versions to a vendor for gold, since Blightoath equipment is fairly easy to come
by. If you don’t have any Blightoath gear yet, I’d recommend infusing your gear with
Blightrage gear, but don’t worry too much about optimizing this and going for perfect
rolls until you’re working on Blightoath gear. Battered Gear as of now is only obtainable
in NA servers from the Triumph token vendor, but is the best possible infusion gear you
can get:
While they are not spammable, world bosses are a good source of Blightoath gear
as participation in killing one rewards you a single Blightoath gear piece of your choice.
World bosses spawn 5 hours after their death, and their birth and death are listed as
an announcement that you will see at the top of your screen, along with their general
location. These bosses do not spawn at a set location, but instead a random location
near their town. On the next page you will find a list of the bosses and their locations.
29
Each Blightoath gear piece is unique in the sense that the possible rolls available will
be different. For example, one Blightoath Cuirass might have 3 power rolls available
on it but no Crit Factor rolls while another Blightoath Cuirass has no power rolls but
several Crit Factor/Crit Power Rolls. To figure out which one you want, refer to your
class discord for more information regarding optimization. In MOST cases however, it’s
good to try to get Crit Factor from infusions to help you reach your crit cap (you can
find info on this from the appropriate class discords), and to then get as much power as
possible. The number of rolls that end up on your gear depends on the rarity of your
gear. For example, superior gear can have 2 lines, whereas mythical gear can have 3 lines.

17 Partners
Partners can give a fairly decent combat boost. The most efficient way to get partners
is either by leveling pet up to level 10 and evolving them, but combining two pets also
works to give a random partner. Some dungeons drop Legacy Essences, 10 of which can
be used to buy a pet by right clicking on it. You can open up the pet menu by pressing
Shift-P. To combine pets, select one pet, and click ”combine” in the pet menu, then select
the other pet you want to sacrifice.
When you hit level 68, you will get a 120s duration pet for free. This will come
from a quest given by Dougal called “Hatching a Partner”. Follow this quest and you’ll
get a partner that you can use for quite a while!
Partners come with various abilities that help aid in combat. These can include a
boost to power, amplification, or other stats. You can refer to your class discord for a
comparison of pets, but for the most part the longer the duration of the buff the better
the pet. As seen in the screenshot below, the buff appears as a skill that can be dragged
down to your hotbar to a key of your choice:
To use the skill, your partner will have to be summoned, This can be done by click-
ing the summon button in the bottom left of the menu (if the partner is not already
summoned.) Duration is oftentimes the most important aspect of the pet buff, and to
upgrade this you will need to upgrade the fellowship of your pet. To do so, the most
efficient way is to feed unsued partners to your highest rarity partner to get a random
amount of fellowship. More information on this can be found at:

As you continue using your partner, they’ll slowly run out of stamina. To replenish
stamina, you will have to buy puppy figurines from a merchant.

18 Mounts
Some mounts in the game come with associated buffs and effects, but the 2 most notable
ones give a chance on crit to activate a crit power buff for 6 seconds. This can either be
a 1.5x buff or a 2.0x buff (Hence the mounts being named 1.5 and 2.0 mounts). You can
get the 1.5 mount for free over time through Dragon Scales. Every 10 Dragon Scales gets
you a fragment, and 40 fragments gets you the Iron Dragon, which is a 1.5 mount.
2.0 mounts are fairly rare, and are often available in the TERA store, from strongbox
jackpots, or on the trade broker. Examples include Urvog, one of the phoenixes and the
Glimmering Ice Dragon.

19 Cards
One of the final things to optimze on your character is your cards. You can open this
menu by hitting Shift-B to see the cards you have earned. You earn some of these through
the Exodor Questline, but most cards can be farmed or bought, and your card collection
is shared by all characters on the same account. Cards come in four types:
• Character Cards - These are often optimal for amplification stats, and are most
commonly obtained from events.
• Monster Cards - These are farmed from specific dungeon bosses
• Fishing Cards- These are obtained from: you guessed it - fishing
• Gathering Cards- You get the point, get these from gathering
• Location Cards - You can get these from farming monsters at a specific location
Each of these cards can be of either Common (Grey) or Uncommon (Green) rarity, and
you need 20 fragments to combine into a single card. Refer to your class discord for your
optimal card setup!
