RABEA SAYS
This is a great lick, using the Mixolydian (C D E F G A Bb). It starts with a pinch harmonic
bend, which is really nice to play when you get it right. I’m then messing around with small
bends in a series of rhythm pushes, blurring the bar lines between the timing of the lick and
the 7/4 backing track. The final run sounds easier than it actually is, but again, it feels great
to nail it!

For this lick use the ‘A’ backing track.
