1.0Introduction

Site detail survey setting out works shall be done by Licensed Surveyor of Jurukur
Ramdan and referred to the construction drawings.

3.0 Survey Procedures For SOP Setting Out

a) Carry out site visit to identify the Temporary Bench Mark (TBM) set by the Licensed
Surveyor.
b) Choose two (2) TBM visible to each other as a reference point / station.
c) Compare the calculated distance between this 2 TBM by observing using Total
Station to ensure the TBM is correct.
d) Transfer the station by established the Temporary Point (TP) and Set Out Point
(SOP). The TP or SOP shall be mark on undisturbed ground.
e) From the TP then can set out the construction boundary and related survey works.

4.0 Survey Procedures For Piles Position

a) Calculate the coordinates for each piles position.


b) Set the Total Station at TP and set out the piling points by pegging each piles location
with wooden stick.
c) For the leveling work, shall refer back to the TBM.
d) After the piling works are completed, shall go back and survey the actual driven piles
coordinates / positions as as-built pile position.

5.0 Documentations

a) Survey setting out plan shall be prepared after site survey by recognized land
surveyor.
b) As-built pile positions shall be surveyed by stating the East and North coordinate in
the plans. Then the as-built plan shall be plotted and endorsed by licensed surveyor or
qualified surveyor.

6.0 Final As-Built Drawings

a) After the bridge and road are completed. The final as-built drawings shall be prepared
by licensed surveyor which consists of level, alignment and any new structure.
