Fender Base Plate Structural Analysis

1) A finite element analysis was performed on a fender base plate mesh with over 2 million nodes and 1.3 million elements. 2) Boundary conditions and loads were applied representing a static case. 3) The analysis calculated displacements, stresses, reactions, and a strain energy of 0.675J. The global error rate was within an acceptable 13.7%.
