WARNING:
When replacing fuel line parts, be sure to observe the following: GI
I Put a “CAUTION: INFLAMMABLE” sign in workshop.
I Do not smoke while servicing fuel system. Keep open flames and sparks away from work area. MA
I Be sure to disconnect battery ground cable before conducting operations.
I Be sure to furnish workshop with a CO2 fire extinguisher.
I Drain fuel from fuel tank and put drained fuel in an explosion-proof container and put lid on EM
securely.
CAUTION: LC
I Before disconnecting fuel hose, release fuel pressure from fuel line. Refer to EC-34, “Fuel Pres-
sure Release”.
I Do not disconnect any fuel line unless absolutely necessary. EC
I Plug hose and pipe openings to prevent entry of dust or dirt.
I Always replace O-ring and clamps with new ones.
I Do not kink or twist hose and tube when they are installed.
I Do not tighten hose clamps excessively to avoid damaging hoses.
I Tighten bolts to specified torque. CL
I After installation, run engine and check for fuel leaks at connections.
