MBAZG634 : Strategic Change Management

Experiential Learning Project(ELP)

The context
As part of the Strategic Change Management course, students are expected to
take up a project which will facilitate the process of application and evaluation of
the knowledge gained as part of the course. This write-up aims to outline such a
project to be taken up by the students.

The Goal
Take up a real time OD assignment, in the people or organization space

Time duration
6 weeks project

What are the steps in to be followed?


1. Form groups of 5 members each
2. Identify a group coordinator for the group
3. Go through the different steps as provided in Annexure A
4. Brainstorm within your group and identify the organization that the group will
consider and the format of output
5. Submit project proposal in the format provided in Annexure B - 2%
weightage:: Last Day – 23rd Feb 2020
6. Upon approval, plan your project
7. Document findings at every stage
8. Prepare final report – 2% weightage :: Last Day – 30th Apr 2020
9. Submit final report in the format provided in Annexure C
10. Participate in viva-voce 6% weightage :: Mid of April till End of

1. Choose a consulting assignment that you want to take up


2. Enter into the ‘Entry’ phase
3. Enter into the ‘Contracting’ phase
4. Conduct the “Diagnosis” phase
5. Conduct the “Collecting, Analyzing, and Feeding Back Diagnostic Information”
6. Propose intervention and change management methods 
7. Document the findings and academic outcome expected at each of the above
phase
8. Prepare final report in a format of your choice
