Report on the Flow of the Activity/Project Conducted:

The program began at around 8:20 in the morning with a prayer. Ms.
Naneth Caspe and Ms. Rose Buenaventura were the facilitators for the day.
Lecture proper started at 8:30 in the morning with the topic entitled
“Tamang Kalusugan sa Tamang Nutrisyon” delivered by Ms. Cindy D. Villanueva,
a faculty member of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The
discussion included the nutritional needs of patients with diabetes, hypertension,
osteoporosis, and arthritis.
The second topic was a lecture on the “Status of Teenage Pregnancy in
Bulacan” discussed by Ms. Mart Juaresa Yambao. She discussed the statistics of
teenage pregnancy worldwide, nationwide, region-wide and province wide. She
also shared the results of the recent Young Adult Fertility and Sexuality Study
(2013) which summarizes the sexual and non-sexual characteristics of young
Filipino teenagers.
The last topic in the morning session was on Leptospirosis and Dengue
Awareness shared by Dr. Loida Crespo. The discussion was focused on the
signs and symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of
leptospirosis and dengue.
Lunch was served at around 11:45 am. The participants were asked to
take some rest and can wander around the area and were advised to be back at
1:00 in the afternoon for the continuation of the lecture session.
At exactly 1:00 in the afternoon with an icebreaker to lightened up the
mood for the afternoon session.
Lecture proper immediately followed with the topic on first aid shared by
Mr. John Paul Mendoza. The interactive discussed was focused on the concept
of burns, poison, animal bites, wounds, hypertension, dizziness and dehydration.
Session was adjourned at around 4:45 in the afternoon.
