MinPol- Agency for International Minerals Policy August 24, 2013- October 05, 2013
 Successfully completed a consultancy project which will be rendered for the Czech Republic Geological Survey.
 Analyzed the changing price trends for aggregates (sand, gravel and crushed stone) in Central Europe and the reasons for the same.
 Provided me with immense exposure and experience to work efficiently in a highly professional manner in a strict time frame which
coincided with my academic semester.

Hindustan Zinc Limited, Vedanta Resources (during Sophomore Summer) May 13, 2013- June 8, 2013
 Underwent 4 week summer training at Rajpura Dariba Mines, HZL, Vedanta Resources, located at Dariba, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
 Provided an in depth on site knowledge of mechanized rock excavation system for development of underground metal mines
through regular visits to VRM & East Lode Section, North load, and Lower Level Section [Includes Main Haulage level].
 Recent development in ore beneficiation techniques, surveying tools and techniques for metal mines.
 Mentored by Mr. Subrata Dutta (Advisor, Mine Operations Tech., S.K. Mines) and Mr. H.P. Kalawat (Sr. Mgr. Mining, R.D. Mines).

POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Kshitij- the annual techno- management fest of IIT Kharagpur

 Core Organizing Team Head, Finance at Kshitij 2014.

- Rewarded for my outstanding tenure as a Core Team Member at Kshitij 2013 with the nomination as one of the 18 core
committee heads at Kshitij 2014.
- Responsible for handling finance and logistics of the fest, the budget of which is almost INR 10 million.
- Responsible for conducting workshops and getting gift partners; secured 5 corporate associations including the likes of Mozilla,
IFC, MSC Software, Flying Machine and IDEE; garnered deals in kind worth INR 2 lakhs till now.
- Conceptualized a documentary making contest and an eye donation pledge camp in association with an NGO.
- Confirmed high profile Indian delegates as well as international exhibits for the upcoming fest.
 Core Organizing Team Member at Kshitij 2013.
- One of the 25 members of the organizing committee of Kshitij 2013; prime member of the Corporate Management Team as
well as the Content Development Team at Kshitij.
- Carried out the branding of over 60 high profile companies through 35 events, 9 workshops, 9 guest lectures, 6 exhibitions and 3
megashows.
- Solely responsible for raising total alumni contribution of INR 2.44 Lakhs from Mumbai and Pune.
- Carried out the publicity of the fest in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Pune, leading to an overall participation of 10,000 students from
these locations, in all had 10 media articles published.

ACM ICPC Asia Region- Kharagpur Site

 Among 14 members who assisted Dr. D. K. Nanda and Prof. P. K. Biswas in conducting the first ever ACM ICPC 2012 Asia
Region- Kharagpur Site.
 Rewarded with the responsibility of looking after the finance related matters of its subsequent edition.
 Recently assisted the CA in getting the corporate account audited, presented all the vouchers, income sources and expenditure
avenues when asked on time.

stIITch- the Inter IIT newsletter

 Founding Member and Content Developer at stIITch- the Inter IIT newsletter, which has had two successful online
publications till date.

Student Mentor Programme (an initiative by the Students’ Welfare Group, IIT Kharagpur)
 Appointed Mentor (2013- 2015) to four freshmen in the Student Mentorship Programme, IIT Kharagpur under the Dean of
Student Affairs.

Illumination and Rangoli

 Student Coordinator, Illumination and Rangoli 2011- 2013 at Azad Hall; Azad Hall won bronze in both the competitions in two

SUMMARY

I am a person who is believed in giving my best to anything I do, and looking out for new avenues in life. To conclude, I present before
you, a confident young man who is ready to take on the challenges; an individual who has allowed his personality to develop beyond
the realm of studies. Mentoring freshers, heading the techno- management fest of my institute, all round personal achievements as well
as team glory, I believe I have had my fair share of it all. I am confident that my work ethic and determination to always improve myself
will lead me along the path of success; while my passion and perseverance will help me excel and exceed the high levels of performance
that would be expected of me.
