ASSIGNMENT- I (Based on RIP Routing Protocol)

Q1. Design and realize a network topology using RIP Routing protocol having 3 [10 marks]
different network series including at least 3 routers and 2 switches.

Q2. Analyze the above network designed for the case if the hop counts are increased [5 marks]
i.e. one or more routers are added up in a route. Show how the topology updates
are made.

Marking for the above question will depend upon:

 Topology design i.e. all the constraints are satisfied.

 Assignments having same network topology and addressing schemes


will be considered as plagiarized and all such assignments will be
marked zero.

 Assignment submission must be a pdf file containing snapshot of


topology, well defined steps along with CLI commands and
corresponding outputs.

 Clarity of explanation will be given due weightage in marking.

 No assignments after the due date will be accepted.

Assignment submission due date: 16/5/2020 till 11:53 p.m.
