PURPOSE:

 To establish, document and maintain a procedure for operation Control for


Environmental, Health and Safety aspects of MF Group of Industries.
SCOPE :
 All operations which have significant environment aspect, Health and safety impact.
DETAILS:
 All department heads shall prepare the operation control instructions for each
operation, activity which have a significant Environmental, Health with
existing work instructions used for other management systems such as
quality management, maintenance etc. Operation control instructions shall
address:
 Maintenance of machine, plant, equipment etc.
 Operation limits (specified condition)
 Address situations where environmental policy, objectives and targets, may be
deviated.
 Method of operation Identifiable significant Environmental, Health and Safety
aspect or impact.
 These operation control instructions may be clubbed Safety aspects of goods and
services
 Communication required for suppliers/contractors.
 Operational control procedure shall be established and maintained related to the
identified.
 EHS risks of goods, equipment and services, designing of workplace, process,
installations, machinery, operating procedures and work organization, including
their adaptability to human capabilities in order to reduce EHS risks at their source.
 The procedures are in the form of work instructions, guidelines and checklists and
specify operating criteria.
 The departments shall establish operational control procedures to ensure
fulfillment of requirements to cover all identified hazards and risks.
 Personnel are suitably trained to handle material and processes.
 Suitable corrective and preventive actions are taken to ensure that the impact of
non-conformance is mitigated. The corrective and preventive actions include
modification in work instruction, operational control procedure or formats.
 The suitability of operational control procedure is ensured by monitoring required
results, conducting experiments etc., as applicable,
 HOD (P & A) is responsible to make and maintain a master list, which lists down the
various operational control procedures related to EHS.
