Strength:

1. Uber is a become Brand globally with a presence in over 85 countries. Uber is expected
to grow rapidly in the coming years. It is currently valued at over $68 Billion.

2. Uber, being an aggregator does not require high fixed investment and so it becomes
easier for Uber to add more cities to its network. It has expanded rapidly because there is
no fixed investment. 

3. Uber has always focus on customer satisfaction. Uber has understood that it is serving in
a totally customer driven market where competition is increasing.

4. According to the Uber financials, the company generated US$11.3 billion revenue with
adjusted loss of $1.8 billion in the in year 2018.

Weaknesses:
1. Uber brand has received negative coverage over numerous scandals due to drivers. Cases
such as sexual harassment and targeted attacks have defame the company name.

2. Uber dependency on Internet and smart phone devices. Uber potential customers are
those who have smartphone and internet availability.

3. Uber drivers are not very happy with their earnings. In some cases the operating costs
they have to cover are so high that the room for profit is minimal.

Opportunity:
1. Number of smartphones are increasing and technology based applications like Uber can
expand their services to other cities and over the country.

2. Uber can provide special transport services such as paid ambulances or urgent and
emergency vehicles for dedicated transport operations.

3. Populated countries, Where there is over population and people are tired of using public
transport, Uber provides a kind of privacy and relief where the user gets his own space to
travel and does not have to drive in Traffic.

4. A smart idea for Uber can be to launch movers and packers support whereby people can
search movers and packers in the nearby area via Uber.
Threats:
1. Uber is the changing laws and regulations of every country and it is biggest threat for
uber. A simple change in the law can ban Uber from operating in the whole country.
2. Uber helps the drivers to get a high number of daily rides but it does not have a high
profit margin for the drivers and thus they can easily be sway away.
3. Uber facing strong comprtitors such SWVL, Careem.

In my project we will design and develop a software application that provided facilities of local
transport tracking system by a user of application if he/she does know how to visit to different
places in the city in a less budge without hiring a taxi.

Strength:
1. Operational cost is low
2. A great amazing rating system depends on both the driver and the passenger.
3. The system is suitable for drivers as they can choose their working hours.
4. The fare of the passenger is low as compare to competitors.

Weakness:

1. Big problem is that customers most required internet and smartphone.


2. Bad treatment in some cases from both sides
3. The customer most is going the specific bus stop of routes.
4. Customers may question the privacy concerns regarding their data.
5. Low loyalty from the side of the drivers.

Opportunities:

1. The number of smartphones is increasing and the accessibility of the internet can expand
services to other cities and over the country.
2. Increasing the number of cars can make more profits.
3. Additional services can be offered such as transporting for schools colleges and
universities students.
4. Further provide transport from city to city.
Threats:

1. Facing strong competitors such SWVL, Careem, Uber etc. in present market.
2. The SWVL industry is fighting hard against and its legality.
