Hello! I’m Fernando Falco. I’m 13 years old and I’m a student in year 1 at Belgrano School in Santa Fe,
Argentina. We are 30 students in the class. We study in the morning. Classes are from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We have 8 obligatory subjects: History, Science, Maths, Spanish, PE, English, ICT and Civic Education.
Music, Art and Yoga are optional. Our favourite subjects are Music and Yoga because we can relax and feel
good. There are different clubs in the afternoon. We can play instruments, write poems or perform acrobatics.
Our school is 100 years old, but it has got very modern equipment. There is a modern computer lab, where we
can surf the net to find information. The library is very old, but it has got new books too. It is on the first floor.
My favourite place at school is the Science lab because we can do experiments there. Mr Gomez, our Science
teacher, is my favourite teacher too. He is very strict, but his classes are great. I love the school canteen. We
sometimes have lunch there. Salads and veggie sandwiches are wonderful!
