Information: Due to the circumstances, we are not doing exercises with the Passive Voice. It’s
also a rather complex structure which needs a different approach. It usually comes again in the
10th grade, so there is no problem.

Today, we’re finishing Unit 7 and beginning Unit 8.


1. First, let’s revise some writing skills: both … and; not only … but also.
To help you understand:
- Go to your book, page 103. Study the writing skills (green);
- Go to your workbook, page 71. Study the writing help (green);
Task 1: Book – page 103 – ex. 4;
Workbook – page 71 Ex.1,2;
Workbook – page 49 – writing – Ex.1,2,3;

2. Now let’s check what you’ve learned – Test Yourself.


Task 2: Book, page 104
Workbook – page 48 (all exercises);

3. Finally, let’s write a small text.


You have read about places.
Go to your workbook – page 71 – and read the article about “Komodo National Park”.
Task 3: Workbook, page 71, Ex. 3 - based on the information given, write a fact file about
Cocos Island National Park.
This task is to send me until the end of the day – Friday, 22.05.
