RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUNONG BARANGAY GIL B. GATCHALIAN TO ENTER INTO A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE MUNICIPAL SOCIAL WELFARE AND
DEVELOPMENT OF ARINGAY, LA UNION FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DAYCARE SERVICES
AND DAY CARE WORKERS IN BARANGAY SAMARA, ARINGAY, LA UNION.

WHEREAS, the Barangay has two (2) daycare centers responsible for providing supplemental
parental care and early childhood enrichment activities to children;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Day Care Centers aimed to provide assistance to children as well as their
parents who are employed in the care and custody of their children;

WHEREAS, the implementation of daycare services in Barangay Samara are best attained in
partnership and coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development of Aringay, La
Union;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Barangay Kagawad Lilia M. Aquino and Barangay Kagawad Rubin
E. Ugay Sr. and unanimously seconded;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to authorize Punong Barangay Gil B. Gatchalian


to enter into Memorandum of Agreement with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development of
Aringay, La Union for the implementation of Daycare Services and Daycare Workers in Barangay
Samara, Aringay, La Union.
