Finding Relief Through Acceptance

This poem is about seeking relief from inner conflicts. It describes being trapped in a cycle of thoughts and dreams about shedding conflicts. It suggests making a "thread of relief" by escaping into rest and telling yourself "everything will be fine," as a way to take a break from pain and gain perspective. Ultimately, it's a first step toward full acceptance, and finding that escape is not truly a crime but rather a means to an end of handling life's difficulties.

RELIEF

Aren’t you following a thread of relief

Wanting to climb over it and believe..

That everything is fine

Conflicts wrapped up in the head

Hugging dreams in sleep, in bed
Hoping that they would once shed
It’s a cycle and you’re entrapped

But everything will be fine

There’s a patch on the cloth you wear

It makes sound that you always hear
Relief relief, it cannot disappear
It’s escape from the pain you bear

So make a thread, out of it

Bend a little, crouch over it
Just lie by your little tired mind
In a while, you’ll sprout on it

And everything will be fine

Just give yourself a little time
Escape was, is and will never be a crime
And it will be all fine

DESCRIPTION

We all are running for the same white light in our lives and we try to seek for
solution for every little conflict we have in our minds.

This poem tries to tell the first stage of Acceptance that is one can take a break
or escape for a while by just letting it go. Well, it comes hard enough in itself
because letting it go is the initial stage of it and building block of it. You can
breathe for a second and can consciously tell yourself that “it is fine” even if
the worst is there sometimes. This small telling can make a big difference.

Poem tells you that every time in sleep you must wish of shedding of conflicts
and living in peace but reality comes in a form of cycle in which you are
entrapped. So, for sure running away is not a solution at any cost because it
says you are already entrapped. Then facing it in a way where you make it so
light as to let go and then slowly the other way round you can attain whole
acceptance and once you reach it, you can handle worsts too.

Escape is considered running away too but a fine thread which gives you
strength to say “let go” isn’t an escape, it’s a beginning to a long run
acceptance.

Just like you are entrapped in a cycle of conflicts, get entrapped in cycle of
letting go too, to reach the middle point somewhere. It might come easy then.
