Time management is the real answer to what I learned this week but I can have that be in
addition to the process. The rationale part two has brought some ideas into focus concerning
what I understand about education and where possible assistants can be made. How will I market
myself in light of what I can gather abstractly? Logistics are a problem when there is no outreach
to apply everything learned within a program. Over the course I have expanded my own
perspective of what is done in the classroom but over special education assistance as a whole.
Paraprofessional positions should be requirements for anyone wanting to work in the special
education field. If this is done we would see more qualified people, especially young educators.
This is done I feel like in every field but the one that needs the most attention. Many people see
many of the problems experienced by non-sped classrooms in the lack of identification or ability
to accurately service them.
Curating an individualized education plan that will eventually be supplemented by an
RTI approved program that is merely scripted is a farce. This is a dangerous turn for special
education and has occured because of oversight in an already underprivileged sector.
Recognizing this deficit the AHB program has equipped me to look at the total of where these
faults lie. To get a more academic understanding of the diverse needs that must be met greatly
improved my grasp in tackling items in particular ways. If I can manage my time better I can be
a better servant to this cause of finding stronger programs that pay off in the long run. Education
is a community building that is becoming the arbiter of many cultural topics. Knowing is half the
battle. The other is showing up on time.
