Interested persons can contact the pastor of one of the
three churches to get a job description. If you are interested in
applying, you can submit a cover letter, resume that includes

Note from Pastor Mike Riggins
Just as the days blend together in the time of Covid-19, so also do
the weeks. We have already worshiped remotely six times. For the
seventh, this coming weekend, we will offer our first “remote com-
munion”. (I choose not to call it “virtual communion” because it
will be REAL, not virtual.) Wherever and whenever you watch, have a loaf of bread and a red liquid
of your preference handy. If you worship with others, serve each other.
We continue to try to learn how to minister one to another in these times. I have been calling
through the church roster over and over again. Linda and I have had driveway visits with maybe 60
Central folks. Church Educator Cheryl Mole is sending out Sunday school packets. Husband Jim
conducts Sunday afternoon sing-alongs. Your deacons have been contacting their “flocks”. Session
committees and commissions have been meeting online.

Bible Study and Beer
Our new study group meets via computer each Wednesday evening at 7:30. The group is growing
and for the first time is including women. The conversation is sharp, the study insightful. But the
best part may be the minutes after we’re done, when we all just hang out on the virtual meeting, en-
joying seeing each other’s faces and hearing our voices. To participate, contact Scott Racop at

ing to be typical but it will be a part of your life’s story. You have
completed your studies and are graduating and we want to cele-
brate!
Please contact the church office if you have a graduate in
your family.
As a church family, we probably won’t get to honor our graduates in
person this year. The Youth Design Team suggests that church members and
friends “shower” our grads with cards and congratulations! W atch for
more information with the names of our graduates.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION REPORT—Cheryl Moles
We aren’t meeting in person, however Christian Education continues.
A weekly “Sunday School at home” lesson is sent by email each Saturday. It is designed
primarily for preschool and elementary children but has good thoughts for all ages. If you
would like to receive it, let me know.
THANK YOU to our Sunday School teachers for this school year! It is disappointing that
we won’t be meeting again this school year. Hopefully we will be back in August. The
teachers were: Beth Christ and Corrine Foree in preschool; Andrew Conner, Linda Rig-
gins, Ellie Templeton and the high school youth in the elementary class; Kristen Darke,
Kirsten Ford, Cheryl Moles and Scott Racop with the tweens; Jill Conner and Connor
Scanlon in high school. Kevin Christ, Al Holder, and Mike Riggins led the adult classes.
Valeri Kershaw, Cheryl Moles, Donna Paul-Bonham, Joy Sutter and Isabelle Conner led
Children’s Worship.
At this time there is not a decision made about whether or not we will have Vacation Bible
School. I will let you know as soon as possible. The planning team is consider ing op-
tions depending on the timing of a lift of restrictions. Thanks for your patience.
