SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

TVS Logistics core strength is in Logistics Planning for its customers, tailor made,
with cost-reduction solutions and implementation of the plan and process. This
includes the activities of planning for supply chain as well.  In most of the
projects TVS Logistics were able to provide 5 to 15% reduction in their clients'
 cost of operation.

INTEGRATED LOGISTICS

TVS Logistics creates value for the end customer, with the concerted
management of the vendor education process, for collection and supply, transit,
receipt, stocking, line feeding, inventory control, packaging, finished product
distribution, warehousing redistribution of spares and reverse logistics.

The speciality is that we are a solutions provider rather than infrastructure

providers and are able to handle the complete loop of the logistics operation.

INBOUND LOGISTICS

TVS Logistics “Logistics Plans” incorporates the principles of JIT, Kanban,

scheduling and ensures timely availability of parts and components for production
with virtually bare minimum inventory. The collection system from vendors are
developed and monitored.  The system is supported by the powerful "track and
trace" IT System

Inbuilt features include variance analysis on a daily basis and course-corrections.

Premium freight is kept abysmally low for customers. The in-plant inventory
savings are direct visible savings that our customers enjoy. The concept of hubs
and consolidation of despatches are practised with efficiency.
WAREHOUSING

With over 2 million sq.ft. warehouse area, TVS Logistics adopts the best practices
in warehouse management. The company is also involved in running in-plant
warehouses for its customers. Key Areas on Housekeeping, Efficiency norms on
line picking, retrieval and storage patterns, Safety are all standard practices. With
flexible manpower the processing, final delivery, are also outsourced to TVS
Logistics. In keeping with the demand of Customers’ needs, the company is
involved in preparing CKD / SKD kits of automotive components in tie up with
global experts in this field.

OUTBOUND LOGISTICS

Primary and secondary distribution of auto components and CBU, distribution of

finished products and spare-parts as well as reverse logistics are a natural
integration to the chain, and with a history in handling automobile spare parts
sales and distribution, the company extends its proven best practices to the
industry. Handling of premium freight movements is undertaken with reliability
and speed.

CONSULTANCY

TVS Logistics offers consultancy on all Logistics Services to a variety of sectors.

GLOBAL OPERATIONS

United Kingdom
In United Kindgom, TVS Logistics operates through its subsidiary, TVS
Automotive Europe and TVS CJC. It has recently signed alliance partnership
with Davis Turner, One of the largest logistics service provider in the UK. As
regards to the Mainland Europe TVS had co-operation agreement signed with
Wincanton Trans european  for their logistics support and its operation.
In Spain, TVS Logistics operates through its subsidiary TVS Logistics Iberia SL
which was started in November 2004. Currently working on a  Consultancy
project with Hispacold and Irizar.

In Thailand TVS Logistics operates through its subsidiary  TVS Logistics SIAM
which began operations in 2005 . Apart from projects like AAPICO AMATA, the
company has a line of new projects coming up.

In USA, TVS Logistics  has its representative office at Detroit

The joint venture in the USA, China and Germany are on the anvil.
