Personal Purpose Statement
I see myself progressing in my medical field as well as in my education. I find it challenging and
motivated to keep on because I will prove to myself that I can make my dreams and goals come true with
the help of my family and God. Finishing high school was one of my goal because all I wanted it was to
start college and keep my family steps and make my family proud of me on becoming what I want. Being
in a medical field can be challenging but motivated. Being in a medical field appealed to me because
doctors seemed smart, responsible, helpful, and in some vague sense I could not quite define “cool”. They
cured the sick and fended off nasty diseases. They discovered new treatments and dispensed old remedies.
They eased the dying process, even occasionally pulling patients back from the dead. It seemed like they
could do just about anything.
In my time being in college I aspire to invest my time learning all the skills and knowledge of
my field towards professional advancement. I hoped to be offered in a medical role in 3 years, looking
to move on to greater things. I’m prepared to learn new things and try my best to success in a number
of ways. Getting good grades in the exams and essays is satisfactory and motivating to maintain a good
GPA. The time I spend in college will hep me settle my mind so it will be able to respond to crisis
situations with calm determination.
The degree I’m willing to pursuing is a bachelors in Radiation Therapy. In which I will be likely to
help others and by stepping into someone’s life at the low moments and making a difference to their
experience is an incredible privilege. I have always been passionate about radiation therapy and admired
the process on how the work. I expect myself to me in college for one more year to finish my
requirements and wait till I get transfer and accepted to University of South Florida. Hopefully I get into
College medicine school. I aspire to be part of the Health care , Allied health and science for my career’s
opportunities. Becoming a radiation therapist will be one of my major goals. Bringing a better life for me
and my little family is one of my goals. Having a degree will accomplish my goals and expectations.
Living a better life with a good job that I’ll be passionate about and grateful to work with and help others
in need.
My responsibility in the learning process is to gain more knowledge by attending class and
completing class works and assignments as proscribed be the teacher. I will develop my skills abilities
by learning and paying attention by helping me grow both personally and professionally. I can see many
challenges ahead and therefore I am willing to invest my time learning all the skills and knowledge of my
field towards professional advancement. I just want to manage my time efficiently with my classes and
overcome any bounds or obstacles which might wait for me in my path to be successful in the future which
lies ahead for me. I pray my strength in the Lord for guidance and wisdom which will foresee me to have
the will and strength to keep thriving each and every day to pursue my dreams.
