PROJECT PLAN

Assignment handout date: w/c 21st January 2013

Assignment hand in date: 4pm on 21st February 2013

A copy of your assignment must also be submitted to Turnitin using the link on the
345sam moodle page.

TASK

You are required to produce a 1500 word project plan for one of the following
projects:

 Developing an advertising campaign for a product of your choice

 Building a conservatory

 Organising a University charity football match or other small event

 A small-scale project of your choice

Your report should demonstrate the various stages of project planning, and
specifically include:

 Your understanding of project stages


 Stakeholder analysis
 Risk analysis
 Resources required
 At least 3 milestones
 Gantt chart or Critical Path Analysis

When you are writing your report, make sure that you explain why you are
proposing particular steps are taken or tools are used. You should use academic
sources to support your work.

Harvard referencing must be used.

Word Count: 1500 + Gantt Chart (included as an appendix)
