Dear Parents

We are delighted that Mrs Clements is now well enough to be back in Cherry Class. Mrs Clements will be
working part time initially with Miss Blackett continuing to cover. I would like to say a huge thank you
to Miss Blackett who has done a fabulous job in Cherry Class.

Children across the school have had a busy week – Ginkgo Class enjoyed a session of badminton earlier in
the week
week and Oak and Willow Classes visited Bletchley Park as part of their War World II topic.

We have had many positive comments about the children’s behaviour and enthusiasm for both these events
so I would like to thank the children for representing themselves
themselves and their school so well.

Sarah Nisbett

WHOLE SCHOOL VISIT TO THE PANTOMIME
(………. OH NO IT ISN’T !!!)

On Friday 27th November 2009 we will be making our annual visit to the Pantomime. Once
again, we will be going to The Theatre, Chipping Norton, where we will make up almost the
entire audience! The production this year is Dick Whittington and I am sure that all the
children who have previously attending our pantomime visits will agree that this is a
wonderful afternoon, and a lovely way to get into the Christmas Spirit!

We will leave school at 12.15pm after an early lunch (11.30am). The bus will leave
Chipping Norton at 4.00pm to return to school, so we anticipate being back at
approximately 4.45pm weather and traffic dependant. As usual, we have booked a few
extra seats in case you want to join us and bring siblings. These seats will be offered on
a first-come, first served, basis – please complete the form attached. We have managed
to keep the cost at £12.00 each ( the same as the last two years) for the ticket and
transport.

Please note that no staff will be remaining at school on the afternoon of the trip so, if
your child does not wish to attend, it will be necessary to collect them at 11.30am.

So we can allocate seats, we would be grateful if you could return the reply by Monday
15th November 2009.
