How Does
Watermist Work?
Water is fire’s oldest enemy and the best extinguishing
agent known to man. It has a theoretical cooling ability
of 2.6 MW per litre per second. But in a real fire
situation, such tremendous cooling power can only be
achieved with hundreds of litres of water. Because
nearly 80% of the water escapes the fire zone without
evaporating.

Water’s immense firefighting power can be optimally

utilized only by complete vaporization in a fire
environment. To achieve this, water must be broken
down into microscopic molecules that have a surface
area coverage many times higher than water. These
droplets of very low micron size must then be
delivered to the fire with a kinetic force strong enough
to overcome fire’s own convection currents. The
result: a powerful, reliable and efficient extinguishing.
Ceasefire brings together all these features and
creates its unique Watermist based Firefighting &
Suppression Systems.
Watermist Hydrant System CF 2000
Featuring the same potent firefighting power as conventional hydrants with much more efficient usage of
water as Watermist, the CF 2000 can be connected to existing water pipes. By effectively making hundreds
of litres of air and water readily available for fighting the flames, it practically guarantees an unlimited
water supply. The system also features an AFFF Foam additive option for increased extinguishing power.

under construction. The system utilises two major components: IP Cameras & NVRs.

IP Cameras
The IP Cameras (Internet Protocol Cameras), are a
type of digital video cameras that send and receive
data via a computer network and the Internet. The
Wired version is connected to a broadband modem
or router through Ethernet cables. Along with
streaming video footage, network cameras can
include a number of additional functionalities, such
as pan/tilt/zoom operation, motion detection, audio
surveillance, integration with alarms and other
security systems, automated alerts, intelligent video
NVRs analytics, and much more.

The footage that is captured by the IP Cameras is converted into a digitally encoded signal and
transmitted over the network as data for viewing and is stored on the NVRs (Network Video
