Shibashi

Shibashi is a centering exercise consisting of 18 flowing movements that was created in 1982 in Shanghai, China. It combines elements from Tai Chi and Qigong and is intended to lessen stress, enhance sleep, improve breathing and concentration, and increase energy. The exercise involves slow, coordinated movements linked with abdominal breathing and can be practiced indoors or outdoors for convenient periods, ideally in the morning and evening. Combine some elements from Tai

Indoors or outdoors
Quiet and peaceful environment
with good air circulation
Avoid practicing outside during
severe weather
Convenient time
when one is not

Ideally after getting up in the morning
and before bedtime
Abdominal

abdomen expands
and contracts, not

Inhale through the
nose, and exhale
through the mouth
