Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to travel to France between 17/02/2020 to 14/05/2020 as a


tourist. As an Indian citizen, I need French Schengen visa for doing the
same. This cover letter/ travel itinerary would explain in details of my trip and
make a case for the issuance of my visa.

Below is the break through itinerary for my trip and what I intend to pursue.

● 17/02/2020 - Land in Paris Airport, Switzerland and take a train to


Clichy. Check-in at my hotel "Ibis Clichy". I would like to see tour
Eiffel and the best museums in my first two weeks in Paris.
● 01/03/2020 - Travel to Toulouse via flight to see and experience the
south of France. Here I plan to visit Basilique Saint-Sernin and visit
the aerospace area.
● 12/03/2020 - travel to cobblestoned streets, botanical garden and
access to the postman cheval’s ideal palace close to Lyon. I
would also like to see other tourist attractions in Lyon city.
● 24/03/2020 - Travel to Strasbourg to see Place Kleber and
experience the museums. I would also like to indulge in a cuisine
culture trip while I am here.
● 01/04/2020 - Travel in train to Lille to experience north of France. I
wish to take the TGV to experience my fast train ride and in Lille I
wish to take up a workshop in French Art and Culture.
● 22/04/2020 – bus ride back to Paris. In my last weeks here I would like to see a
theatre show in Moulin Rouge and explore the street art in Montmartre.
● 14/05/2020 – Return to Chennai in flight.

I am the bearer of all my travel expenses . I am making my own flight and


hotel bookings. I have attached copies of my documents along with this
covering letter as per the requirements posted for Schengen visa on French
Consulate website
Please find enclosed the following documents to support my visa application
attached below this cover letter in the order mentioned:

 Fully completed & duly signed Schengen visa tourist application


 Two photographs as per Schengen visa specifications.
 Original & copy of my passport
 Copy of Flight itinerary from India to France and return tickets.
 Copies of proofs of accommodation for the entire duration of stay.
 Copy of Insurance as per Schengen visa specifications covering
medical as well as repatriation of remains.
 No objection letter from employer.
 Tax proofs, bank statements
 Birth certificate to prove civil status
