There are 4 factions to choose from in the game: Marines, Navy, Airforce, and Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). Each faction has 4 specializations that provide different bonuses, equipment, and skills. The specializations determine a soldier's role and capabilities in battle.

Factions

Factions are the basis of where your future as a soldier is going. There are 4 Factions to
choose from and with each new character you make, you will need to choose another
faction to join. Each faction has a total of 4 Specializations. Each Specialization will
have different Bonuses and options for weaponry and Armor.

Marines
Choose Two Skills: Athletics, Command, Stunting, Survival
Increase Courage by: 2
Hp: +30
Expertise in all Ground Vehicles(Navigation Checks)
Commanding Officer: Sergeant Avery Johnson

Navy
Choose Two Skills: Athletics, Grappling, Camouflage, Evasion, Security
Increase Agility by: 2
Hp: +20
Expertise in all Pilot(Space Checks)
Commanding Officer: Commander Miranda Keyes

Airforce
Choose Two Skills: Investigation, Evasion, Cryptography, Stunting
Increase Perception by: 2
Hp: +20
Expertise in all Pilot (Air Checks)
Commanding Officer: General Dellert

Office of Naval intelligence


Choose Two Skills: Investigation, Camouflage, Technology(any Three), Medication
(Any Three), Intimidation
Increase Intelligence by: 2
Hp: +25
Expertise in all Interrogation Checks
Commanding Officer: Admiral Margaret Orlenda Parangosky

Specializations
Marines
Hell Bringer: Hell bringers are equipped with top of the line weaponry meant to take full
advantage against infantry and ground forces.

Equipement: NA4 Flamethrower, 20 Napalm Grenades, 10 Flash grenades, M52B Body


Armor
Ability Score Increase: +2 Str

Vehicle Bonus: None

Weapon bonus: +2 to attack rolls using Fire/Light based Weapons

Assault ODST: Assault ODST’s are special ODST unit meant to hard engages. They
usually enter the battlefield alongside fellow marines, but have high class weapons and
armor.

Equipment: ODST Armor,

Ability Score Increase: +1 WFR, +1 AGL

Vehicle Bonus: Personal Pelican and Pelican pilot

Weapon Bonus: +2 for Assault/CQB based Weaponry

Engineer: Engineers are Soldiers on the battlefield who have a knack for vehicles and
can pilot/navigate any one that keeps its toes on the ground!

Equipment: M52B Body Armor,

Ability Score Increase: +2 Int, +1 Per, -1 AGL

Vehicle Bonus: Personal Warthog or Scorpion

Weapon Bonus:+2 Marksman/Sniper

Heavy Spartan: Heavy Spartans are beefy spartans who are slow in nature but end up
soaking a lot of damage. They are seen carrying heavy weapons but are limited to only
that weapon. They cannot have a secondary. (Must Pass Augmentation)
Equipment: Mjolnir Armor (Gen I),

Ability Score Increase: -3 AGL , +3 STR, +2 TGH

Vehicle Bonus: None

Weapon Bonus: +2 to all Heavy Weapons

Navy
Ship Commander: Ship commanders are Soldiers who have made their place in the
UNSC Naval command. They have control of their own ship and may upgrade it as time
goes on to gain access to new weapons and vehicles that they will own. As well as a
salary that is paid to them every month in credits. The better their ship is the more
Credits the Ship commander with gain.

Equipment: Ship-Commander Armor,

Ability Score Increase:+3 Int, -2 CRG

Vehicle Bonus: 1 UNSC Light Frigate

Weapon Bonus:None

Wetwork: Wetwork soldiers are known for their ability to stay stealthed in situations.
They are prominently sent on assasination missions and are equipped with weapons to
do so.

Equipment: Black Bodysuit (none Active Camo)

Ability Score Increase: +2 AGL, +1 WFM, -1 CHM

Vehicle Bonus: Private SOEIV Pods

Weapon Bonus: +2 to Silenced Weapons


Pathfinder: Pathfinder Soldiers are usually ODST’s who are dropped into enemy lines
and must fight their way back to UNSC controlled areas. They are equipped with the
loudest and best weapons for them to succeed in their missions.

Equipment: Stealth M52 Body Armor

Ability Score Increase: +1 AGL, +1 WFR, +1 WFM

Vehicle Bonus: None

Weapon Bonus:+2 all Covenant/Forerunner Weapons

Technical Spartan: Technical Spartans are spartans with light armor who specialize in
light weaponry, usually relying on their wits and cunning to win the battle on the field.
They are usually equipped with their own combat AI and tools for their duties in the field.

Equipment: SPI Armor

Ability Score Increase: +3 INT , -1 STR

Vehicle Bonus: Personal Cloaked Mongoose

Weapon Bonus: +2 to Single Handed Weapons (includes Swords and Blades)

Airforce
Pilot Operator: Pilot Operators are Soldiers who have a keen eye for vehicles that are
used in the sky and in orbit. They know how to fly it straight and get the job done right!

Equipment: Pilot BDU

Ability Score Increase: +3 PER, -1 LDR

Vehicle Bonus: Your Choice, of Falcon, Wasp, Hornet or Pelican

Weapon Bonus: +2 Marksman


Defense ODST: Defence ODST’s are the last line of defence for human world colonies.
These ODST’s are granted special weapons that are experimental, and the field is the
best place to use the,.... But only when it's your only choice.

Equipment: ODST Armor,

Ability Score Increase: +2 CRG, +1 WFR, -1 STR

Vehicle Bonus: Personal SOEIV Pod

Weapon Bonus: +2 to Experimental/CQB Weapons

Pioneer: Pioneer Soldiers are soldiers with experience under their belt. They are
expert tacticians who's men believe in everything they say. They Are usually found to be
leading operations, even when the commanding officer is there.

Equipment: Shielded M52C Body Armor,

Ability Score Increase: +3LDR, +1 CRG

Vehicle Bonus: Command Warthog

Weapon Bonus: +2 to all Marksman Rifle/Shotguns

Sierra Spartans: Sierra Spartans, otherwise known as the assault spartans, are
spartans of the highest caliber. The Majority of Spartans that are labeled as Hyper
Lethal vectors are known to be Sierra Spartans.

Equipment: Mjlonir Armor (Gen II)

Ability Score Increase: +3 CRG, +1 STR

Vehicle Bonus: None

Weapon Bonus: +2 to all UNSC Weapons

ONI
Oni Operative: Oni Op’s are the undercover soldiers working specifically for the Office
of Naval intelligence. You Gain intel and are equipped with their best weapons that they
have to offer for you.

Equipment: Commander Armor

Ability Score Increase: +1 all categories

Vehicle Bonus: Personal ONI Mantis

Weapon Bonus: +2 to Light weapons

Head Hunter: Head hunters are Special Soldiers who are sent to eliminate high value
locations and targets for Oni so as to forward their plans. Using special armor and
weapons to complete the job.

Equipment: SPI Armor

Ability Score Increase: +5 AGL, -2 TGH

Vehicle Bonus: None

Weapon Bonus:+4 to all Sniper/Marksman Weapons

Spec Op ODST: Special Operations ODST’s are used for undercover missions. These
ODST’s Sport full black armor that has a slight energy shield reading. These ODST’s
are hidden in the shadows and are sometimes called ONI’s Reapers.

Equipment: Black Spec Op ODST Armor,

Ability Score Increase: +1 TGH, +2 AGL, -1 STR

Vehicle Bonus: Personal SOEIV Pod,

Weapon Bonus:+2 to all CQB/Silenced Weapons, -4 to all Assault Weapons


Freelancer Spartan: Freelance Spartans are ONI’s Special class of spartans that have
special traits to them. Oni will release these spartans to help out and aid the war effort
anywhere they can with all information gained on the field to be reported back to them.

Equipment: Mjolnir Armor (Gen I)

Ability Score Increase: +1 to all categories

Vehicle Bonus: None

Weapon Bonus: +2 to All Weapons
