Thank You for purchasing this great effect named POLTER!

POLTER will enable you to mystically cause objects to drop off shelves and
cupboards in another room/or in the same room. So the effect of a Poltergeist can
easily be generated! Have fun with this!

What do you need: Get a pair of earplugs (airport, drugstore, already have them at
home?) They must be of the soft foam type: when you squeeze them they will start
to expand again but very slowly.

Take one of them and attach a line of fine

string to the ear plug and fix a small coin on
its other end with tape. (The coin must be
heavier than the ear plug)

Look for a small object (bottle,

glass,…) and place it on top of the
squeezed ear plug.

Now hang the coin over the edge of the

table/shelf….

The ear plug expands and the object will

start to fall over. When the object falls the
plug will be pulled away from the object –
due to the weight to a hidden place (stool,
behind the shelf,…) where you can pick it
Pulled to hidden place
up later unnoticed.
I took two ear plugs and glued them together so they obtained more “power”. On
the top and on the bottom I glued a piece of cardboard and a small coin/or again a
piece of cardboard. This is the “Power Polter” tool. It pushes and tilts larger
objects easily. Just play around with different objects.

You can also use the same vanish strategy with

the thread and the coin…or use my idea: Put the
“Power Polter” on top of a cupboard and place
the object which you want to cause to fall on the
floor on top of the gimmick. Open the door of the
cupboard. Now everyone will believe that it fell
out of the cupboard and no one will look on top
of the cupboard! POLTER!!!

I always try to make them believe that the object fell from a different location – far
away from my gimmick! (Make up space between books, open one cupboard door,
move other objects so that they see it must have been standing between the other
glasses, plates, Cds, etc.) Therefore the action of POLTER becomes even more
intense and the illusion of a Poltergeist who smashed/threw things around the room
grows in their mind.

Experiment with it and find out what a great

idea this is no matter what method you like

best. Ear plugs are almost everywhere…. I
did it before going to bed (burglars?), at the
University (what the hell?), during a reading
(oh my god!), in an office (s***!), and even
in a supermarket… LET`S POLTER!

And: No, I will not make a video or pre-probs for this one. Only the ones who make this
one up by themseves will truly be able to love and estimate it 100%.
