1. Install mongodb package from official repo. (and mongodb-tools that provides some useful tools)
2. Start the mongodb.service daemon.
To access MongoDB shell, just type:
1. $ mongo

Once you have installed mongodb and mongodbutils (William Chanrico ‘s instructions are completely correct), you need to simply import a JSON file:
1. mongoimport --db "database_name" --collection "collection_name" \
2. --file "json_file"
The following is an example Json file:
